Hacking How to boot games from channels fast !

This is to load games from usb like yal does
Ok, this is like YAL but its faster, uses ios 249 and works better with channels
its just a verry stripped down verison of usb loader 1.1
Download
You must just open menu.c and change the titleid for your game (and the text you wanna see)

if you want the banners from your game in your channel follow this:
Extract the opening.bnr from your game iso
Open in U8Tool the opening.bnr and extract it as IMET (dvd banner info), then pack it again as IMET (banner info)
replace the 00000000.app in your wad with the opening.bnr (the one you just packed as banner info)

Some channels i made:
Call Of Duty 5 CODW
De Blob BLOB
Mario Kart KART
Super Smash Bros. Brawl SSBB
Vertigo VERT

menu.c is in the source.
I think there are to things you have to edit:

printf("[+] Booting Mario Kart...\n");

Depends on your game. But i think it´s not importantn

Disc_SetUSB("RMCP01");

Thats important.
RMCP01 is the ID of the game which will be loaded.
You have to edit that.

My problem is:
I have windows and i dont know how to compile =(
Is there a TuT?

Yeah i have it installed and use it to compile softchip.
I modified the softchip .bat and here my error:

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `c:/devkitPro/devkitPPC/USB-Loader_v1.1/source/apploader.c', needed by `apploader.o'. Stop.
make: *** [build] Error 2

Maybe updating dekitt helps.
I dont really know how to use it =/

Well how is it supposed to work better in channels?
And about the speed... in what aspect? All it takes an ios reloading before the game launched, how does this supposed to increase the speed?

This seems to be Waninkoko's usb loader hardcoded to launch a specific game, even gui stuff is in the source... It's strange waninkoko releases source so early..

I'd love to be able to do any of this, but right now it seems too time consuming, I'm hoping someone will come up with a quick and efficient way to do this with minimal work. Something that extracts banners from ISOs and creates the wads for you all in one app.

well yal always code dumped in channels for me

and yes its just the usbloader with a hardcoded path and some stuff removed also Super Smash Bros Brawl works perfect with it (as yal gives blue screen)

well that doesn't explain the speed you emphasized in the topic's title...
btw yal works well if you just strip the usbgecko detection out...

I agree, I'm kind of lazy too, but if some of you have NTSC wads that you've made it would be great if you could share them with us, my personal requests would be

Well, I guess all the big releases would be awesome, the more the better... not to sound too greedy or lazy, but here's hoping.
