Hello,

My GBA AGS-101 was working fine up until a few days ago when the screen colors now don't look right.
See these 2 pictures: The 1st is from an emulator on my PC, The 2nd is from my GBA SP.

The Golden color looks greenish on my GBA now

Any ideas why it just started doing this?

Thank-You, Michael

does what I describe in this thread sound like the issue you're having? I.e. can you see the screen changing it's tint during bootup?

Hi,

Shadow#1 >>

The GBA was bought on ebay 10 years ago, so I'm not sure if it was a rebuilt unit. The backlit screen looks original.

Localhorst86 >>

The boot up 'Gameboy' screen is normal.

It seems to show a greenish tint only on certain colors.

Thank-you, Michael

Nevermind my post then, I misinterpreted your original post and assumed you had a 101-modded ABG, which is what my issue was. While mine was fixed by swapping out the converter ribbon cable, your's is probably not as easy. To be honest, I might not be the most versed in the GBA hardware, but my best quess would be that your screen is simply dead/dying.

Probably a good idea to wait for other peoples inputs first.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
