Um I just copied the files in the save game folder, When I loaded the game it didn't even give me a warning about loading mods, I just saw at the top it said missing dependencies {MODNAME} then it continued loading but then kicked me back to the main menu before it finished.

What other files are you suppose to copy over from you Documents folder? Also would it because I had some certain mods in? They were all .pak mods.

After some New try and error i got the void Knight classe to work, but the skills have no text pra description, but all work as intender, and i think u must have misses some step on the save transfer from the moded Pc save to the switch, after many tries, the only way i got to actavate the mods in park format is by using a moded Pc save as trigger. If u want to install the mods in Amy other way i must say that only cosmetic mods, or ther ones with no generated loot list, Will work.

U may also be using to many mods.

Can you explain more about where to place the unpacked mod and public folders?
Do you place those folders in the game folder, or in a folder inside of that folder?

I managed to get my own mod working:

"New User Can't post links" but just in case its the

Stealth - No Silly Bush Barrels or Rocks

"New User Can't post pictures"

I used this file structure inside /SXOS/titles/010027400CDC6000/romfs/Data/Public

This also applies to Atmosphere just change "SXOS" to "atmosphere"

its a simple enough mod that it should not affect anything else.

No, just download manually make sure you have the correct path set and drop into the Folder, this mod is very simple and its been around since the game came out without having to update the actual mod itself, only the file path cause Definitive Edition changed the Data folder location.

I am confused. Did any of you manage to get mods working or not? I copied the PAK files to romfs/Data/ and injected a PC save, but if I try to load it I get the same error like OP.
Is there any way to actually activate the mods?

After u load the importes save, reload It onde more time and they should work. U still need to keep this save for later triggering the mods again.

Yeah I cannot get this to work, at all. If I reload the save, it will just tell me that I may 'lose unsaved progress'. That's it.

Make a Pc sabe with the mods on, convert to switch, with the same mods on the content folder, load the save and then reload the same save, mods should work.

Just always keep the Pc save u converted to turno the mods on again, u Just nerd to load It First, before loading the save u are going to play.

When I tried that, he gave me a warning and then converted the save to it's unmodded state.

Thanks, I guess it will be the same for the Necromancer rebalance, since it adds new spells and changes some.

Btw, does anybody know why I am missing the data and Public folders and if I have to unpack the mods?

Is there a guide available for activating mods by editing a save game? I don't have a PC nor a Steam account to create a save file from.

If that's not possible, can anyone share a save file with just cheat commander?

Would it hurt if I placed the pak file on multiple folders just to make sure it works?

Two bad news for you D:

1- i never got then to work without saves.
2- mods with New text, dont work too well, as the text becomes invisible and you need to know in wich order they are placed tô select then in game.

From what I've read they still work, just need to take note which option is for which effect.

The options still work, but like u said u Will need to take notes.

If u can get a Pc save with Just cheat commander and convert It to switch It Will work.

U Just nerd to load the Pc converted save First and then Anynsave u load should work, but u need to do this every time u close the game,oh loads Will take a Lot longer too.
