she does speak in archaic Japanese. So does Suzuka but we localised hers more heavily in keeping with the first game.
All right, I'll keep that in mind.
1. I'd say it's actually a fair bit easier than the first game. They really streamlined the gameplay; you get a "free" assist attack, forced evasion isn't as broken anymore (and now you can use it as well) and they've given you the ability to swap out an active member in your party whenever you want to or right before an enemy attack (if the active character has enough SP). Though, you can't cheese through all the battles by using Rampage Spectre anymore, since you'll need the frontier gauge for that instead of SP/COM (they also reduced its damage output).Sorry if it isn't relevant to the translation itself, but i thought it's important to discuss it since now stuff in the game are understandable. those are questions for everyone btw:
1. How difficult the game is compared to the first game?
2. What's your preferable party formation?
3. Are there certain bosses that force certain party members in front line, like in the first game? If yes, can you swap them with back line members in-battle?
4. Are there any secret bosses/dungeons in the game? The first game had one secret boss.
2. Honestly, pretty much everything works. Characters can fulfill a multitude of roles, so you should use the tactic you feel most comfortable with.
3. Nope.
4. There's a bonus dungeon called the Dragon tower (only available in NG+). There are also "wanted" bosses you can fight. Throughout the game you'll be able to find bounties with specific information on the whereabouts of the wanted criminals. After defeating them you'll get some experience, a ton of money and some nice accessories. There's also a secret assist character only available in NG+.
If this isn't the right thread for these questions/answers, feel free to delete my comment.
