Regarding the Overclocking update, you only need it for PCSX (+ PicoDrive w/ 32x apparently!). Most games will run fine with the "Boost" (~1200MHz) profile; more densely-packed 3D games like Toy Story 2 and others will need the "High Performance" (~1500MHz) profile. You can set the overclock profile on a per-core or per-game basis by using Overrides (Quick Settings -> Overrides [if enabled]), so set it to whichever you like for PCSX or PicoDrive, and then leave it at stock clocks for the rest of the cores.
For N64, the only thing that'll make those games run (because I don't quite yet count brute-forcing the Switch to get it to run) is Patience.

Hmm, I’ve noticed that in Mario 64 in-game the coin counter and star counter both don’t show up, in Zelda OoT there is a long pause when accessing the item menu, as well as some graphical glitching, and in Majora’s Mask the title screen is invisible.

Are these known problems with Muppen64Plus, or do I have something configured wrong?

You never said anything about your core settings, so we assume it's negligence on your part. Don't be terribly surprised though that an effectively unfinished core implementation doesn't work 100%.

Core settings are all defaults. Hence why I was asking if they were known issues, if I’d fiddled with things I’d have assumed I’d fucked up ;-) more meant that I was wondering if changing a setting would fix those problems without my mucking around and possibly making things worse.
Fully understand the nature of emulation not always being spot on.

Is there any way to have the OC settings save per core or game? Or a plan to implement it?
I would really enjoy this feature as it would allow me to setup things the way I want them only once, and not everytime I change core.

3do core now run full speed too
and 32x sega
32x has few good games, Tempo is one of the best games on 32X
And the poor compatibility (switch picodrive) , glitch no sprite, freeze or whatever doesn't help.
Tempo? Does not work
Mortal kombat? No sprite
Kolibri? Glitch, unplayable
Needs an update , picodrive is Not doing well
On android everything is perfect

You can confirm that tempo works ( usa jap) rom no intro
Okay, for tempo
the best 32X game
EDIT
And now kolibri works wtf..
What the hell is this???? Tried to play a few hours ago without success docked, then now works well on nomad?????.... There are some weird things about me... Bad ghost ?.
Well, he remains dead kombat II in my list.... Tomorrow there will be the sprites of the fighters?

Yeah since rayman pcsx rearmed doesn't work on switch, it would be a good way, the rayman jaguar is very good, but on android gpdxd quadcore 1.4ghz ( oc to 1.8 ghz) is not enough so on switch I don't know...

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I think you only get like 425gb on a series s hard drive, so you get 1, 2 next gen games max
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, so you need to have another series s if you wanna play more games?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Nuh you buy extra HD n add to it, but not cheap
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, how can a console have more than 1 hard drives?
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
usb expansion? I know the PS4 can do this
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh Yea I recall my PS3 can do that

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Speaking of my PS3 i havent downloaded any games yet bc my wifi is too slow
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and also because blackouts here are very common and that could damage the console
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, although whatever device we plug into them stops getting power anyways lol
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
    that's weird
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, and oh i was talking about ups
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Surge protectors are what i was talking about
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
