New release : Lakka-Switch.aarch64-2.1-devel-20180702145547-r28266-gd7ab03d6b

What's new :
  • Lakka doesn't break your battery anymore :toot:
    • You will need to run the fix in Hekate 3.0 first if your console was affected
    • Make sure to update your copy of the boot script as coreboot.rom was also affected
    • This also prevents Linux from shutting down early, just as Horizon did
How to update : https://lakka-switch.github.io/documentation/update.html

Where can we find the updated coreboot.rom? The one on the painless repo says it hasn't been updated in a couple months. I downloaded the one from the https://github.com/lakka-switch/boot-scripts/archive/master.zip but I was unsure if it is the latest available

Excellent.... a question...

I've sx os 1.2 with autocrm....

Can i've lakka and sx os on my system? Or team xecuter code will brick my switch for use another system than theirs one?

How is the better way to have both (different sd card of course) systems on paralel way??

Thank you!!

Updated the PSP compatibility listing for Corpse Party: Book of Shadows. It seems to work flawlessly. Once sound, wireless JoyCons, and Docked mode are implemented, I will use this solution more often! Later, I will test Blood Covered - Repeated Fear, The Anthology, and Danganronpa. I'll report back soon.
EDIT: The games work. Nice!

You can.
You need a another SD card to use Linux. SX OS or not.
But you will need a method to launch Linux like a computer or a smartphone.

I used Filezilla. You can find a download link from the Lakka FAQ then got to the guide for adding roms

Under the File Transfer via SCP, follow the instructions there. You have to be online, which requires a reboot.

Now it works perfectly. Thanks!
Do you know how to import my save states from openemu?

Can I setup a lakka sd card with just my Android phone? I don't have a personal phone and don't wanna risk my job and see my work laptop to play psx and psp games

So I´ve lurking in this thread for a bit now and was waiting for that battery fix. Simple question: in the compatibility list in the Lakka website, does it list all the games playable? Or just some that have issues?

You can use both, no problems

It lists tested games only, whether they work or not

So does that mean I can drag & drop the files onto my exFAT sd card and boot?

Edit: nvm just saw that exFAT is not supported.

Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)

I still like how a freaking mp3 file hacks webos all that security defeated by text yet again

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Not a big movie buff, more of a gamer tbh. And Series X is 120hz 8k ready, but yea only 120hz 4k games out right now, but thinking of in the future.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Mostly why you never see TV manufacturers going post 60hz

I only watch tv when i goto bed, it puts me to sleep, and I have a nas drive filled w my fav shows so i can watch them in order, commercial free. I usually watch Married w Children, or South Park

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)

@BigOnYa, Lol I bought a new USB card reader thing on AliExpress last month for I think like 87 cents. Free shipping from China... It arrived it works and honestly I don't understand how it was so cheap.
