been selling switch jigs, there was a huge initial surge of sales, then things slow down, eventually it will just become a trickle, then drips, this is just how these things work, most people looking for hacks etc were waiting behind the floodgates ready to buy, its not going to keep up a streak of 100k per week, that would be absurd

Lol you referred to the actual situation and based your reaction to that, now you're trying to save your statement with imaginary assumptions, let's stick to what we have now and tangible numbers. Oh no you can't beacuse in that case you'd feel dumb at assuming that 0,5% of pirates could be comparable to 20 million user base.

But for the sake of it, let's take in account what you said, as far as we know sx selling graphic could have a bell shape, where the most sold copies are on release(has it happens with most of the products) so the majority of interested buyers already bought it. You also forget that while sx will sell more (but with less of a peak than the initial release) by the end of the year even the switch will sell more copies in proportion, so percentage will be still nearly the same.

The thing about the gateway brick code was that it took some time to trigger so no one realized and random people who bought clones were getting hit without knowing what happened. let's be realistic here. TX will continue to sell very good until another solution comes up (not even on the horizon when you consider SciresM's latest posts).
so another at least 200k until end of 2018 and we are at roughly 1% of users pirating the shit out of their switch. that is a billion in sales lost. not bad! I do not consider this peanuts. why do you think Big N gave green light to mariko? because it does not hurt? come on, wake up.
