Hacking Struggling father in need of help with Homebrew OOTHAX 11.6

Long story short I've got a little girl with a 2DS OOT and Power Saves, I can get access to the homebrew channel now is there anyway to install FBI? As far as I'm aware there is not but thought I would check first.

no, you will either need a HW mod, Transfer from another 3DS, or a NTRboot compatible flashcard

You can't install anything on the console with just plain homebrew.

Yeah, there's currently no direct path from userland homebrew to CFW on systems with a firmware higher than 11.3.

The good news is that ntrboot compatible flashcarts are cheap and are also useful for playing DS software afterward.

There are three ways to accomplish your goal: the DSiWare method (requires a second 3DS that already has CFW), the ntrboot method, and the hardmod method. The ntrboot method is by far the easiest and cheapest method.
