Hacking Ps3Xploit - Now Install CFW from 4.82 OFW : NOR/NAND Software Flash Writer + NOR Dumper Released

It translates roughly to "Update data has been found : Version 4.82 - Ferrox [1.00] Location USB flashdrive"

I thought only PS3s with an exploit installed could recognize CFWs but I guess I was wrong.

alright everything is done .. i REALLY need a basic guide on how to add games on webman ( Tell me if there is a better way ) new to ps3 hacking ... so i have it all set up i see webman folders on my ps3 ... how do i add games to them .. i put 2 psp games on my USB ( does it always have to be in port 2 ? ) i have no idea how to add these 2 PSP games to my PS3 ..... do i make folders on my usb i.e a PSP folder and a PS1 folder and drop games in there does the usb have to be formatted to NFST FAT 32 ect .. how do i copy them over to my ps3?

First, thanks to all that make it possible, i can finally put my PS3 60GB Fat (first EU model) on CFW without having to do hardware modification
I installed Ferrox 4.82 CFW Cobra and I have some question :
-How to check if it's correctly installed ? I just have "4.82" in system menu. I have a pkg manager so I guess it's all good but I want to check. And how can I access CFW option ?
-What homebrew to install ? I know there's multiman, but I don't know what version to install (I found "Base", "Stealth" and "UDP". I installed Base, but when I started it and accepted contract, I had an error). Also what to do/download to not be banned from PSN ?

The file has to be called PS3UPDAT.PUP, no UPDAT.PUP

In your drive, either the built in hdd0 or usb, you put PS3 ISOs in a folder called PS3ISO and PS2 isos in PS2ISO and PS1 isos in PS1ISO

If your PS3 game is a game folder rather than an ISO you put it in a folder called "GAME"

In your drive, either the built in hdd0 or usb, you put PS3 ISOs in a folder called PS3ISO and PS2 isos in PS2ISO and PS1 isos in PS1ISO

If your PS3 game is a game folder rather than an ISO you put it in a folder called "GAME"

so Psp would be PSPISO .. thanks

I'm in the same boat. I was able to get the success message and my ps3 turned off. Then I restarted and tried to install CFW then I get the corrupted error. I'm thinking the exploit didn't take hold? I'm trying to re-do that however I'm not getting trouble getting past "triggering exploit failed."

From what I gather of the chart (https://twitter.com/esc0rtd3w/status/934090577297268736) it's only compatible if it's on 3.56 or lower.
