I just got my ps3 controller back from my brother but Nintendont doesn't seem to recognize it. I have the controller configurations on my SD card and booting Nintendont through vwii.

Here's another test build for Slot B testing: https://github.com/GerbilSoft/Nintendont/raw/v5.460-MChax2/loader/loader.dol

This is rebased on top of v5.460, so it has all of the Wii U changes. Other than that, it's basically the same as the MChax1 build.

To set up Slot B, you'll need to manually create a Slot B memory card file. It must have one of the following names:
  • /saves/GSNE_B.raw (where GSNE is the 4-character game ID)
  • /saves/ninmemb.raw (USA/PAL games when using Multi)
  • /saves/ninmemjb.raw (JPN/KOR games when using Multi)
The total size of both Slot A and Slot B must not exceed 16 MB; otherwise, Slot B will be ignored.

Card saving is also optimized to only save modified portions on system shutdown. Previously, it'd save the entire memory card image regardless.

Thanks to @GreyRogue for figuring out how to get Slot B working properly in both games and the IPL.

Please test this and let me know how well it works and/or if you encounter any issues. (Back up your save files first!)

Player 1.
what are you using? wiivc inject? if so to get hid controller to be players one you need to not choose to start the game with gamepad, that hay hid controllers can be player pne, once ingame press the home button and it will sync in, my ps3 controller(official) works perfectly.

I'm loading via vwii. I think I figured out what's wrong. I went to HID-Test again and was messing around with the buttons and noticed when I press the home button a lot of values start randomly appearing and disappearing. I think the home button is breaking. Is there another way to sync it?

nope, that is the ps3 sync button even for ps3 itself you press home to turn the controller to on or sync on ps3 itself.

This is something I always wanted, it's gonna be pretty useful in games like Animal Crossing, PSO, also it makes the process of transfer an external save (downloaded from internet for example) less risky for your Card A.

EDIT: It works if memcard.raw is not present but memcardb.raw is, it will create the memcard.raw acordingly.

Just tested with Twin Snakes and it shows properly on the bios manager (both cards), also transfer a save from memcardb to memcard and the game load the save correctly.

My memcards are 8mb btw.

@huma_dawii Disc 2 in Twin Snakes is working properly, I think someone mentioned it wasn't working, injected a starting disc 2 save to memcardb so I killed two birds with one stone :P.

So I have been searching this forum, and I still don't really understand how to make my ps4 controller work with nintendont. Do I need to download a special program? Is it just plug n play? Do I need to keep it connected with a cord the whole time I play or can it go wireless? How do I use my ps4 controller while preventing to turn on the ps4 itself?

@GerbilSoft does your build includes the "exit fix"?
Because I'm getting the same exit problem on Wii U where I need to power off the console, but only when using the GCN adapter/controller exit combo (L+R+Z), GCN controller on port 1, no Gamepad controls enabled.

Could be unrelated to your build though, @FIX94 would you confirm it, it does exit fine using Gamepad controls but it hangs when using GCN adapter on port 1 (Gamepad controls off), tested in the exact same part of the game.
