After being rumored at thanks to a leaked source, Capcom has officially confirmed that the cult classic Okami will be making its way to current gen systems. Capcom's press release states that the game will be releasing for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on December 12, for £15.99 / €19.99 / $19.99. Not on Switch either?

Are you fucking kidding me, Capcom?
I must say that they missed a good opportunity there.
Just imagine the following:

- Original Gameplay (Docked + Pro Controller).
- Wii controls (Using the Joycons for the moves and painting, similar to how it played on Wii.

I personally enjoyed the Wii version for the Wiimote-Nunchuck gameplay, not kidding.

I think it has to do with the unpleasent experience of porting it to the wii back then. Either way a great game. Still don't understand why Japan value teeth so much. New game plus is brutally easy with 100%.
The Wii port was literally the PS2 version with slight visual upgrades and the Wiimote-Nunchuck control though. I hardly see it as a problem.

Only scrubs play it on 480p Wi
Heyyy, I liked the Wii version so much ;-;

Motion control painting, and a Twilight Princess like gameplay, that was so good to me.

Also blurry 480p graphics looked surprisingly good on my HDTV.

The amount of "Switch pls" comments on the trailer is :ok_hand:

I'm quite happy about this, i never finished it on the PS2 but loved the few hours i played it years ago.
Gonna get this Day 1 on PC.

Dolphin works just as well too ;O; provided you have the Dolphin adapter :P
I prefer the PS2 version. My last playthrough was 1440p@60FPS and 8xAA on PCSX2.

At $20 I'd buy both the Switch version and the PC version if they were available. Portable + flawless graphics master race.

I'm pretty sure the PS2 version would be easier to use, as you won't need a Wiimote to play :P
Isn't the Wii Version easier tho.
When you had to draw stuff at least.

* Remembers that i got stuck for like a half hour trying to do something with the analog stick *

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault.
