Yes, you can play NSMBWii like others games (such as Wii sports, Mario party, etc..) with your friend (YOU AND HIM MUST HAVE THE SAME VERSION OF THE GAME, SAME SAVE DATA, WHEN ASK USE LOCAL MII'S NOT YOURS!!!)

1) Yes, but you need a friend to play it with, and he must have the same game, same language wii... Etc..(example: NSMBwii version 2, IP 100.10.100.10 PORT 1000 [in smbwii you can use a non-used save date like there are 3 save files, 1 of them isnt used, you use that {ithen your friend must have the same slot not used...} for playet with your friend])
2) Yes, chadderz did used the same versione of NetSlug (you van watch on YouTube )
3)Yes
4)like in smbwii world 5-4, theres a desync the wiimote, thats all..

And MrBean35000vr did responde to me on YouTube yesterday, see the screenshot for proof.. (He's thinking on continue the dev)

When was the last time you saw Nintendo release a game for the Wii?
Yes i know... but i think that the wii homebrews are getting good at now time.. just think on CTGP, netslug, WiiSXR, etc..
i think the wii is more supported by the community than bay other console...( personally).

So? The Wii hasn't been supported for longer.
What I meant is that this project came out of the blue. Surely I appreciate OP brought it up, I was just surprised that it was a lot older than what I thought.
