Hacking Need Help in updating CFW to latest (noob here)

already updated my multiman to latest the problem is

i notice when i insert the CD on my ps3 i wont appear..

why is that?

and also even i installed the latest multiman im still having an error " app_home/PS3_GAME" but sadly i got a error "An error occured during the start operation. (80028f14) "

can anyone help me did i mess up? T_T

it's safe to connect to the internet. if u connect to psn, it's prudent to use psn patch though. that will disable cfw syscalls to make your system look like it's on ofw. don't click on app_home by itself. that's a bluray redirect option.

and right now my disc now appears so i think im good now..

played games already

my concern is " app_home/PS3_GAME" is for? what is use?

and last question can you recommend a site where can i download ps3 game?
if its not okay to mention just ignore my last question regarding where to download..

this is from psdevwiki about your error code: "An error occurred during the start operation (80028f14)", mostly caused by bad laser / user trying to directboot via app_home instead of mounting first / old/ancient payload / with malformed PARAM.SFO (unsupported or corrupted data ICON).

what's happening is that you're clicking on app home without mounting a game first. it's a redirection of the bd drive to the hdd (syscall 36). the error is normal.
