Not sure if this is the right section but...
I updated to the latest hourly build. It installed successfully. I pressed start to reboot. It never rebooted. I waited a few minutes and tried turning it on manually.

The blue light blinks once and that's it.

I'm on 11.4 and updated to boot9strap.

I have told people repeatedly to not update to the latest hourly and people continue to do so. It's your own fault for not reading my warnings.

Ugh, the next version of Luma Updater will disable this feature.
I'm barely on this site to be aware that you had writings and warnings about this. But thanks alot for your help, kind sir.

I'm a woman, and I had warnings on the Github releases page for the last two versions as well. :/
And I am a man. Apologies. I'm aware of your gender at this point via your profile. And I must've not read this info on GitHub. But if would like to reply with info on a solution that would be much more appreciated.

Restore your previous boot.firm or redownload the latest stable release from Luma's Github. I even bolded the warnings on the last two releases as well. The warning has been there for days.

This is why end users shouldn't have easy access to nightly builds, they're not often meant to be run by people as their regular builds if those people don't know how/want to debug issues.

I know, that's why there should be a keypress combination, to warn noobs, and to prevent accidental updates.
Or I can disable it entirely. It will allow people to take it upon themselves to ruin their devices by manually downloading hourlies, and can no longer blame Luma Updater for "bricking" their device.

I put warnings for a reason, and people absolutely refuse to read/believe them. I'm sick and tired of seeing thread after thread claiming the hourly build "bricked" their system.

It wasn't the first time I installed an hourly build, had nothing go wrong an other time I installed one. I was unaware that there was a thread about a warning to not install the hourly builds on b9s. All I did was ask for a bit of help to get my device to power on. I got bashed, the given fix and my device is good now. Yet I'm still being bashed.

I'm barely on this forum to know every single thing that's going on.

And @KunoichiZ I did not blame Luma Updater for anything. It was my fault for not knowing but again direct your attention to my above statement.

Enjoy your Sunday.

I know you weren't blaming Luma Updater. Some people have mentioned/complained that Luma Updater "bricked" their device upon them downloading the latest hourly, which is why I mentioned it. What I said earlier today was not directed towards you at all, but towards the public. I wasn't try to bash you, put you down, or anything of the sort. I apologize if it seemed that way towards you and I'm sorry, but by now, you can see where my anger is coming from.

Being just a user, not a developer I fail to understand why you take notice of complaining users.
All CFW is use at your own risk software, and nobody should ask you to give warranties of any sort.
Personally I value the work of anyone in the community that takes the time to code anything, and cannot understand why you should react as a clientele manager. Nobody here has the right to complain. At the very least they should say "thank you for sharing".
Despite thread after thread of people that complain, and uncaring enough to read and read and read and THINK, there are quite a number of users very happy with your work and Aurora's and Plailect's and so on.... But as always, they, as I, are not the most vocal people.
I, we, thank you for your work, and we cherish the fact that you provide us, noob and little-versed users, with the possibility to try and make our systems into what we really want.
We want to keep those options open.
As an example, latest hourly is always nice to keep as a possibility, even if I only needed it ONCE.
I, and not the only one in this, would really hate to see this option go away. It could be guarded by a button combination press, and go with a screen of warnings, but please, think about people that really value having more options.
It is a shame that there is a silent majority that just uses the programs, just uttering a "thank you" in a thread, while the bunch of whiners that complain without trying to fix anything by themselves, strikes your interest.
Those that really use your body of work eventually figure things out by themselves. I do not take kindly on people just grabbing things and complaining on partial information. Yes, this is the internet, but common sense should keep on existing even here.
Would people really complain if somebody trashed their car's engine if that person wasn't a mechanic?
Well. keep the good work as long as you can, all of you.
Thank you.
