@OkazakiTheOtaku: No, you can scan and Flash any Abiibo. TagMo just does not identify the Amiibo correctly (I think it identifies them as [SSB] Mario istead of the real name).
But that does not matter, it can still flash.

even with 2.3.4 version it identifies Zelda amiibo bin from BOTW as Toon Zelda, is this normal and safe to flash onto a blank nfc?

I had the same issue with some of mine. But it's fine. Once flashed, if you scan it in a game or other app it shows as the correct Amiibo.

That seems to be a Bug in the app. It only writes the bin you feed ot nothing else.

It just wont identify it right.
What do you mean by that? It won't recognize the .bin file as the right Amiibo? That doesn't matter, it writes it correctly even if it misidentifies it.

Which figure are you trying to write?

See it like this, rip of the figure of a retail amiibo and Put the figure of another one onto the stand. Its still the Same amiibo even if it looks like another.

So it doesnt matter what the Bin file identifies as, as long as ots from the right amiibo its still the right one when you write it to a Tag.

You cannot overwrite an Amiibo's character. Once an Amiibo, whether it is a retail one or a NTAG215, has been "flashed" you cannot change which character it is. You can only modify the user data. Nvm I misunderstood.

When you say that you are putting the second one on the stand, what Amiibo is that? Which one is the second one? If it came out after January then it won't be correctly recognized as the last release of TagMo was in January.

Ugh. The amiibo Chip is in the Base, or stand and its the Same amiibo regardless of wich figurine you would glue on top.

Same difference with the bin. If its a bin file from Botw zelda it doesnt matter as what the app identyfies it. Its still the Botw zelda bin.

Correct. No matter what TagMo identifies it as, it is the correct BIN.

As I said, the Breath of The Wild Amiibo came out after January. Therefore TagMo won't have its data to recognize.

Yes and no. I have a 3 hearts Wolf Link I bought with BOTW but I was trying to create a 20 hearts one a friend borrowed me.

Those NFCTag that I used and got the failed message. Can they be used again? Or are they already written?

Thanks for answering!

afaik you can only write once to a blank nfc ntag215..it will act as a real amiibo and cannot be overwritten like the real thing.

But are the one with the 'Failed to decrypt tag' written? Cos when I put them on the Switch they do nothing.
And I wasn't trying to overwrite my tag. I was using a blank NFC and his .bin. May it be corrupted or something?

That could be it. If you have spare tags to test with, try dumping one of your own and see if you can write it with a fresh rip.
