hey guys,
im trying to replace my wii with my wiiu. never played wii games on it, only gc games with nintendont.
Is it possible to get a channel or something to directly launch into a gc game, or the usb loader gx?
My old wii is configured to launch direct into the usb loader, as i dont want to use the shitty wii remote.
And is it possible to use the gamecube adapter? If yes, then i could finally use my wiiu for everything.
Pretty annoying that i have to reconnect the wii motes because i have to switch between wii <-> wiiu.
greetings

Unless you can find a channel forwarder for nintendont, (I use wiiflow master mod) You can use hbl2hbc homebrew on wii u to load vwii channels. If you have any homebrew forward channels like Snes9xgx channel or (Again wiiflow) Then i dunno what else to tell you.

i would use wiiflow, all i want is to play my gc games.
So there is no option to get several channels for several games? Like one for smash bros melee, one for mario kart double dash for example. that would be awesome.
btw, i got 5.5.1 with haxchi.

You can with several legit/fake DS VC games. [Fake signed needs CFW to startup, legit costs $$ but will launch without need to fire up CFW]

Felek666 beat me to it.

I have several non legit DS titles installed on my USB drive (away from my sysnand where CBHC sits) with HaxChi installed all over the top of them pointing to various hbl2hbc elf files including nintendont.

If im not an idiot and follow instructions to unplug USB when messing with CBHC. I should never have to worry about messing up CBHC

Im not using chbc, too much risks. Too less improvements(for me).
So the way is:
Get some fakesigned vc titles(wii u usb helper)
Install haxchi into them
Configure haxchi to boot hbl2hbc with several configs to boot directly into a gc game
Right?

You can ask @Kafluke about use haxchi to forward gc games to homemenu. Maybe he can share some files with you
I only play one GC game but I have several HaxChi installs.

I'm set up to autoboot to CFW. From there I have a 2nd HaxChi installed to USB. This HaxChi is defaulted to HBL2HBC and that is set to autolaunch Nintendont vWii channel. Nintendont itself is already set to auto play Smash Melee. So my son boots the Wii U. Taps the 2nd HaxChi (changed the icon to look like smash) and after a few seconds he's playing smash.

The other HaxChi's are set up similarly to run other Wii U elfs and other vWii apps.

I wouldn't know how to set up 2 separate Nintendont HaxChi's since they would both just boot into the same Nintendont and play the default iso.

If you have more than one game then you just don't configure Nintendont to auto play a game.

That's the closest I think you can get. One click to a GC menu of games

It shouldnt be a problem to put more than one nintendont with more folders onto the sd.
Like /nintendont1 and /nintendont2 ?
Where do i get icons that fit into the haxchi install?

Edit: saw your edit. Ok i'll try it tomorrow.
Sounds pretty nice.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
