Is it okay to do this or is it still foolish to do so? I've seen some posts on the internet saying it's safe but I just want to double check with you guys.
Thanks!

It's safe if you use the version by @punderino he made a version that stops you from being able to brick the wiiu while using it.Is it okay to do this or is it still foolish to do so? I've seen some posts on the internet saying it's safe but I just want to double check with you guys.

As its modified nintendo software it is against gbatemp.net rules for me to tell you where to find it. But it's on that well known iso site that is not working at the moment.Oh cool! Where can I find his version?

Not sure if the site is back up and running but it's in there lol.Ah, I understand. Okay then, I'll try to find it there then. Thanks for the help!
Sorry yes that is what I meant but I should have been more clear on that.Woah woah woah. I didn't not make it safe. You can still brick with it, the version I have doesn't brick you upon installing tho, the old one would brick you by just installing.

Yes it will be fine for that the bricks only happen when you start fucking around with other things sysconfigtool does. Now I'm confused. Should I install it to my sysNAND or not? I'll only be using it for installing titles. Haha

Why use it for installing titles if there is homebrew for that?Yeah, I wouldn't do anything like that unless I was using redNAND or if I had a hard mod. Common sense goes a long way. lol
Because unlike other installers if the thing you are installing is corrupt sysconfigtool rolls back the install. With other installers you would then need to goto system settings and manually delete the corrupted data. Why use it for installing titles if there is homebrew for that?
Oh, it can do that, and that's why people use it? Now I need to make a WUP Installer that will do that for people. The whole reason I helped the maker of WUP Installer GX2 get a channel version working, is so people would quit using SCT.Because unlike other installers if the thing you are installing is corrupt sysconfigtool rolls back the install. Yep it sure does do that lolOh, it can do that, and that's why people use it? Now I need to make a WUP Installer that will do that for people. The whole reason I helped the maker of WUP Installer GX2 get a channel version working, is so people would quit using SCT.
Yeah, I'll change that too, already planned on making a change for that. I can't say what app is going to be installing titles, but an app that isn't known for installing channels is in the process of being updated to do such things. Also with the other installs your games need to be in a folder called install with sysconfigtool you can have your installs anywhere on the sd card.
A save app is still in the works as well too. I'm trying to eliminate people using SCT altogether.u can also rip saves like saviine without opening the game. they work with saviine as well. u can't inject them with sct. ur supposed to be able to based on the documentation, so I have no idea y u can't with the latest sct version. I personally prefer sct. I deleted it after installing all of my games though, because it creates a question mark tile on redNAND if u install to sysNAND itself instead of usb.
