If he was serious about the breaking into corporate servers, the IP might have to be reported to authorities due to it being a conspiracy to commit a crime. Less time in jail than doing the crime, but still illegal too. Plus... his approach would fail miserably.
Umm okay. But he just talking about learning from a mistake he made, so i don't think is some Code red alert kind if thing. :ninja:

My point is that admins usually ip ban for users who create multiple accounts after already being banned, that was all.

Yeah. I don't know if it's legally required, but it's still a big red flag to me.

but i'm really interesting in computer hacking and security , and i even try to think about obtain a game before nintendo releases from their servers using my tool such as SQL inject or something
but the defcon team doesn't provide such tools directly
If you aren't competent enough to "hack" a server without using pre-made script kiddy tools, you're not going to obtain a pre-release Nintendo game. Might as well try to hack 127.0.0.1 and see if you can get a Nintendo Switch devkit that way.

i see wireshark can alter built in cert file by trusting the self signed ones,it's someways possible to trick a 3ds trust a malformed cert crafted by using some professional tools

Congratulations, you can replace the certificate on a 3DS you own. Now how does this expand to hacking Nintendo's servers to download pre-release games?

You know, there is freeshop, in which many people downloaded SuMo before it's launch...

Yeah. You should first try to hack into 127.0.0.1 and delete all the files on that server. It's a known testing IP and all the files are regularly reloaded.

IIRC most of the Sun/Moon downloads were from a ripped copy of a review cartridge. The version in freeShop I don't think was usable until the seed was published. (...or was the seed published early?)

Allowing to alter the packet received by the 3ds using a wifi network strictly set up with internet traffic intercept software, and alter the string"not_available"to "download_opened"

OP if you understand that the reason that you were ban was for asking for copyrighted material, why create a new account and bring unwanted attention to yourself. You are not looking at the big picture here. These forums have become a place for users to explain, discuss, and help and inform others about hacking methods, tech news, trading items, etc. linking to copyrighted material makes it a liability for this website since it opens to legal action from companies that hold the rights of such material. There are also doing this to somewhat protect you. If you read the forums pin posts you'll see that there have been people that linked their names to copyright material they shared(RomHacks). They were sued by big Companies like Nintendo for millions of dollars. There are rules for a reason. They are there to protect you and keep this community alive.

How much do you know about network security, encryption, and authentication? Because when you alter a packet in transit, you need to have the same client side certificate to re-encrypt or re-sign said packet, otherwise the server will drop the packet. Plus, altering one command in a packet from request information to start download won't mean anything if they have authentication. They would see the packet, and the server would check to see if you actually have proven you are allowed to download. If not, you get nothing. And that's IF the files are on the server, and IF it's not encrypted with an unreleased seed encryption possibly on another server.

there tools designed by brute forcing to get the correct auth such as md5 crack,aircrack-ng orrainbow table
