Hello, I was wondering if there was a file manager of sorts that is able to read files off a flashcart
will it work R4i-SDHC RTS 3DS?There is this for nds flashcard : https://github.com/ahezard/woodfilemanager/releases/tag/alpha.1 . You can copy file from your flashcard to your 3ds sd. The compatibility will depend of your flashcard and it is needed to apply the dldi patch of your flashcard.
-has linux- oh ok.Maybe, I cannot tell, you have to try.
Run that : https://filetrip.net/dl?iY9Hvnd84j on your card this will produce a .dldi file on the root of your flashcard sd.
Then on your PC in command line you run dlditool.exe (https://github.com/ahezard/nds-hb-menu/raw/master/dlditool.exe) on the .nds using this file :
dlditool.exe your_file.dldi WoodFileManager.nds
Finally using make_cia (https://github.com/ahezard/nds-hb-menu/raw/master/make_cia.exe) you convert it as a cia that you can install on your 3ds :
make_cia.exe --srl=WoodFileManager.nds
make_cia.exeWell if you have linux you can get the corresponding binaries by installing devKitPro for linux and execute them in the same order.
dlditool.exeWell if you have linux you can get the corresponding binaries by installing devKitPro for linux and execute them in the same order.
More cards could be compatible by dldi patching the .nds file :Well if you have linux you can get the corresponding binaries by installing devKitPro for linux and execute them in the same order.
well i have devkitpro already (as i was testing fasthax) but alright ill try it (later tho)Well it is dlditool and make_cia on linux, without the exe . I usually build on linux but I do not assume people use it. Install devkitpro and it should be ok :
- wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/devkitpro/files/Automated Installer/devkitARMupdate.pl
- sudo perl devkitARMupdate.pl
- export DEVKITPRO=~/devkitPro
- export DEVKITARM=${DEVKITPRO}/devkitARM
Then
- dlditool your_file.dldi WoodFileManager.nds
- make_cia --srl=WoodFileManager.nds
After all that trouble, why not just eject the sd card. It's not like you'll have to remove the back cover.
