Are you sure you have the correct otherapp.bin file for your region and firmware?

I think it does not work with an old 3ds yet

tried it with your otherapp.bin still no success

I believe that this doesn't work with o3DS systems yet either, no matter what the region (I tested on my o3DS with 11.2 U and it crashes and restarts the system)

i change the code in constants.py USA->JPN

and run exp.py

So I've tested it on my A9LH USA 11.2 New 3ds XL. I put the sound file on the root of my SD along with the matching otherapp.bin. On my first try it crashed, on my second try I booted into homebrew! It works .

Nah you would still need a second 3ds or a compatible DSiWare game that has been pulled.
