Did you copy the bin file from Hourglass9, put it in luma/payloads and name it start_hourglass.bin?

Good evening guys! Hopefully someone can help me here!! I am following this tutorial to install the newest luma (I currently have the RXtools 2.6 CFW) on a old-3ds version 4.5.0-E. My problem: "I am currently struck on the part III - ctrtransfer (to get your console to 2.1.0 , I think...). At point 2. "Select the 2.1.0 ctrtransfer image when prompted by pressing (A)"....when I do all things as follows:

1. Boot your console to Decrypt9WIP (2016/10/21)
2. Booted and I go to SysNAND Options.
3. Going to CTRNAND transfer...
4. [Auto CTRNAND Transfer]

Sorry bothering..

But Could someone please help me!? I do not know w hat to do, because I can no select anything. It says:
"You selected [Auto CTRNAND Transfer].

This feature writes to the SysNAND. This may overwrite important data! (in red text)

If you wish to proceed, enter:
<left> ... <A>

<B to return, START to reboot>

I already made a backup of my nand (via one of the options before this text)


IF someone knows a "quicker/easier/understanable" guide/tutorial (different then the link/plailect github (seems trustable/worthy thought...)) or a YOUTUBE link, would love to hear it from you.

The Plailect guide is the most trustworthy one in existence. Nothing else even comes close. YouTube guides are out of date. Do what the guide says, but I hope you started from the beginning, not from the section you linked to? Https://plailect.github.io/Guide/get-started

Recently purchased a 3DS, and it's hacked. I have 0 idea how to tell how far it was been hacked, and i'm unsure how to get it fully set up with what it needs / updated. I've read over a few guides, but the fact they warn of damage slightly worries me. It's a n3DS using 9.0 firmware (Europe region). I can pull up homebrew when Left trigger is held, but i've been told it's using Aurenand and that (among other things) might need updated. Thank you for anyone who has any information for me.

Place it in SD/luma/code_sections/<title-ID->.bin/

I just installed a9lh with luma but i fucked up when i checked off auto boot to sysnand then i updated the sysnand to 11.2 am i going to have some repercussions? or coould i just restore my old sysnand backup?

If you have a9lh you are supposed to update sysNAND. That's the main benefit. The guide even tells you to do this.

Look on your SD card root for arm9loaderhax.bin. If it's not there (and if your console turns on normally without the SD card in) then you just have plain menuhax. You can start the guide from the beginning : https://plailect.github.io/Guide if you want the best hack available today. Otherwise you can keep using your system like you already are.

so, should i be running sysnand or emunand? i always thought that sysnand was sacred and should not be touched. while emunand can be a open sandbox you can mess around with.
