I hope this gets fixed soon, I don't have a9lh installed and indeed, it's not workingThere have been reports of v6.0 having troubles with menuhax, just use 5.5 until you finish setting up a9lh.

https://m.reddit.com/r/3dshacks/comments/402cri/how_to_downgrade_3ds_browser_to_more_vulnerable/@Aurora Wright I am sorry to bother you, but i do want to thank you for the lumaCFW. It is very nice and indeed easy to use, set up and great. I noticed a more recent update to 6.0 from 5.5 and i see is maintaing continued support.
I do have a question however. Is it possible to patch the web browser for things like the ARcode scanning option that people have used with the 9.2 browser? I dunno much about it myself except that some specific browser versions were previously exploited for injecting pokemon into their games, and can be used for codes, and ram dumping. I assume is something that was just able to exploit ram editing by visiting specific web page during the game suspended screen to modify data or enable cheats into the game during play. Weather not is the full story, i would like to know if is possible.
Perhaps it may be a outdated and overlooked thing to have, maybe there is more useful tools i dunno about yet, but as far as i know there is the option to install a cia of the 9.2 web browser on 11.0 to use exploit, but if is possible to patch into CFW for all system versions (perhaps a option in the config to enable or disable maybe enable for downgraded browser or disable for normal browser or just patch latest browser to always have that feature) It would be very appreciated.
Thank you for sharing but i already know how that works, and it was not what i was asking. Not to offend anyone but only the dev publisher for this CFW or any other may be able to tell me what i want to know.https://m.reddit.com/r/3dshacks/comments/402cri/how_to_downgrade_3ds_browser_to_more_vulnerable/
https://gbatemp.net/threads/qr-code-exploit-pokémon-emunand-10-3-is-it-possible-to-recreate.407853/page-2
check those 2 links.someone has already done it from the gbatemp and said it worked in a9lh.
I hope I helped!
You don't need to be sorry, i appreciate the effort and support that you care enough to read and help.I am sorry
I don't think it matters, i use the first one, they both do the same thing i guess.which updater should i use?
this
https://github.com/Hamcha/lumaupdate/releases
or this?
https://github.com/astronautlevel2/StarUpdater/releases
3ds settings system updateguys i am still on 10.70-32e using luma 6.
i followed the guide so i have al9h fully
how do i update my 3ds to the latest version to go online? is that possible? can anyone show me how with steps?
merci !
The answer is...because they forget it exists...Why don't people use StarUpdater?
thanks, the first one worked.I don't think it matters, i use the first one, they both do the same thing i guess.
I think the directories may have been changed somehow. I don't have much knowledge about that unless you mean the bootanim9 thingythanks, the first one worked.
but now animation boot is not working anymore,i have several animation files.
i can still boot to GW by holding L+R when i turn on my N3DS.
yes,it's bootanim9.I think the directories may have been changed somehow. I don't have much knowledge about that unless you mean the bootanim9 thingy
ok,i put arm9loaderhax.bin from animeboot9 in the root in order to make the animation workHow do you have it set up?
That is the file needed to boot the system.ok,i put arm9loaderhax.bin from animeboot9 in the root in order to make the animation work
so after the update i think it was replaced by luma3DS 6.0.1 original arm9loaderhax.bin
i just put back that file and the animation worked again.
does that file "arm9loaderhax.bin" important?
thanks,i will do that. That is the file needed to boot the system.
You can Put the Arm9loaderhax.bin from the luma zip archive into the anim folder and rename it "arm9payload.bin"
Leave the file from the anim9 zip in the root of the sd card.
Because of the arm9loaderhax.bin file you are using, You replaced the luma file with the anim9 file to load animations. So when the updater tries to read that file it doesn't detect luma, it won't tell you the version you have installed. The updater checks that specific file and replaces it with a updated version if you press install.thanks,i will do that.
another question, when i use the updater
when i use Arm9loaderhax.bin from animboot9 the updater say it can't detect luma3DS version,i understand why,but when i use luma3DS Arm9loaderhax.bin it says it detect the version but it doesn't show me the number, just the last one available from github.
