@Aurora Wright I am sorry to bother you, but i do want to thank you for the lumaCFW. It is very nice and indeed easy to use, set up and great. I noticed a more recent update to 6.0 from 5.5 and i see is maintaing continued support. :)

I do have a question however. Is it possible to patch the web browser for things like the ARcode scanning option that people have used with the 9.2 browser? I dunno much about it myself except that some specific browser versions were previously exploited for injecting pokemon into their games, and can be used for codes, and ram dumping. I assume is something that was just able to exploit ram editing by visiting specific web page during the game suspended screen to modify data or enable cheats into the game during play. Weather not is the full story, i would like to know if is possible.

Perhaps it may be a outdated and overlooked thing to have, maybe there is more useful tools i dunno about yet, but as far as i know there is the option to install a cia of the 9.2 web browser on 11.0 to use exploit, but if is possible to patch into CFW for all system versions (perhaps a option in the config to enable or disable maybe enable for downgraded browser or disable for normal browser or just patch latest browser to always have that feature) It would be very appreciated. :)

Thank you for the new updates and your continued effort. Tested the new PIN feature and it works great as described. When i saw the new feature i was hoping it could be used for child safety. Maybe in an update you could add the PIN for ONLY payloads and config settings. This would basically make everything child friendly with a simple toggle. It's not something that I really worry about because the config on my sons 2ds to enter payloads is not something that should happen accidentally, but it would still add that extra layer of protection without hindrance from all foreign hands.

Thank you for sharing but i already know how that works, and it was not what i was asking. Not to offend anyone but only the dev publisher for this CFW or any other may be able to tell me what i want to know.

I am sorry
You don't need to be sorry, i appreciate the effort and support that you care enough to read and help. :)
But i tagged the person who may have the answers. What i wanted to know is if it can be patched into luma CFW or any other without needing to download the CIA and downgrade the browser, so that we don't need to do the cia install downgrade.

Lol, I forgot I had Luma Updater on my home menu and downloaded Luma 6.0 from the link provided here instead of using the updater...XD

So for the person asking :
Why don't people use StarUpdater?
The answer is...because they forget it exists...

thanks,the first one worked.
but now animation boot is not working anymore,i have several animation files.
i can still boot to GW by holding L+R when i turn on my N3DS.
I think the directories may have been changed somehow. I don't have much knowledge about that unless you mean the bootanim9 thingy

How do you have it set up?
ok,i put arm9loaderhax.bin from animeboot9 in the root in order to make the animation work
so after the update i think it was replaced by luma3DS 6.0.1 original arm9loaderhax.bin

i just put back that file and the animation worked again.

does that file "arm9loaderhax.bin" important?

That is the file needed to boot the system.

You can Put the Arm9loaderhax.bin from the luma zip archive into the anim folder and rename it "arm9payload.bin" :)

Leave the file from the anim9 zip in the root of the sd card.

thanks,i will do that.
another question, when i use the updater
when i use Arm9loaderhax.bin from animboot9 the updater say it can't detect luma3DS version,i understand why,but when i use luma3DS Arm9loaderhax.bin it says it detect the version but it doesn't show me the number, just the last one available from github.

Because of the arm9loaderhax.bin file you are using, You replaced the luma file with the anim9 file to load animations. So when the updater tries to read that file it doesn't detect luma, it won't tell you the version you have installed. The updater checks that specific file and replaces it with a updated version if you press install.

You have to manually move the luma CFW file to the anim folder and replace it with "Arm9payload.bin" by renaming the updated luma file.

The bootanim9 loads before loading luma.

If you want less trouble with this, you can Replace the file from luma in the root of the sd card, then put the file from bootanim9 in the luma payload and then set it up like the other files (Example decrypt9 requires X button on boot to load) So then luma updater won't interfere with the bootanim9 at all, but you need to remember to hold the button to trigger the boot animation

so they added a password which is the good news. Bad news is there's only like 20 combinations. I forgot my password so i just guessed and eventually i got it. L and R need to be implemented or start and select or else this doesn't work. That and anybody who has and understanding of arm9loaderhax could simply delete the luma files and add new ones to bypass the passcode, though i'm not worried about that considering nobody knows how this stuff works. This is a step in the right direction though.
