I've tried the latest three versions of Loadiine, and it seems that when I try to run Smash Bros. through Smash Bros. mode, the wii U just kicks off the video and doesn't do anything. Usually when it blackscreens, the video is still feeding to the tv, but this legitimately cuts the HDMI out when trying to run it.
Super Smash Bros. in mii maker mode is unchanged in all three versions, and works normally.

My main reason for running this is if mods were released for DLC characters, since I have Lucas and Mewtwo on Smash Bros, and can't use them in mii maker mode.

Wii U version: 5.5.1
Super Smash Bros version: 1.1.6 Eshop edition
Loadiine versions: 39c1591, 69fa0c0, 16c5045

Loadiine 0dffac5 also doesn't work- but it gives a memory error: 160-2203. I can't tell if this is 'fixed' in later versions as the console just cuts out HDMI and blacks out the gamepad. But either way, it doesn't work.

Super Mario 3D World loads worse than before for me. Twilight Princess on the other hand does load quicker than before... Minus the castle town, that place is still kinda slow.

TP loads the same if not a little worse on my transcend 64gb u3 class 10 64k cluster... Still unplayable for me.. 15s+ Loading time for Goron village etc... Really seems to vary greatly depending on the sd card you use.

great that it's possible, but I didn't say it will be done soon (I'm not a loadiine developer, and they are busy).
I asked about it to Dimok in the early Loadiine development, but he didn't get the chance/time to work on it.

It would certainly be an appreciated feature for those of us with Japanese consoles. While I can read Japanese, there are nights when I just want to play a game in English because it's easier. Having to rename the files means I can't pick language - I have to either have it all in English or Japanese with no way to switch back. And since my wife cannot read English, being unable to switch between Japanese and English makes things much harder for her too.

I also think it would be good for 'completeness', making the loader truely region free.

That supposed improved load speeds with the newest build sounds like some placebo sh** to me.

i always fully format the card then copy all files over in one batch if that explains why im getting better load times only ever done it once and iv filled my 64 gig card so its no big trouble for me and TP never loads slower then 8 seconds strange it works the other way round for some users on here :(

again, it will not work unless it's installed to your console.
having the DLC data (if it's a data and not just unlock info) is not useful without the console knowing it's unlocked and is allowed to load it.

Also, even if it's free (as in money) it's not free to share (as in copyright).
You can't share or ask game files created by developers here.
What about DLC for out of region games?
How could we play those if we have a USA console and want to play a japanese game with its DLC?

It certainly loads quicker loading into the game to the map but in the actual game there is no difference. Just a pointer which is a bit of a head scratcher to me, who actually confirmed in the first place this was even a new added feature to Loadiine GX2 Build because I cannot read anywhere mentioning it by the devs.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Problem solved. ZXR is now internal only.
Due to what should have been private family circumstances, beyond my control, as I am about to loose a parent and have been made to feel as though I should explain myself publicly because of comments like the above, (although already explained privetly with @Cyan, who I thought may have relayed that I had appropriate reasoning for not doing so at this current time, until I was in the right frame of mind) I now feel completely unmotivated to rectify the issues of any missing/missplaced source code, from my servers and the correct corresponding directories. Although I had never made any public releases, I did actually intend to release all information wich should have been blatantly obvious from the leaked software and to also release a new final version that also actually worked 100% on all fw's with extra features and improved storage, without the need to wait for the release of the upcoming exploits. I did not credit myself within any software at all, as I am quite a reserved person but did credit the original creators and those who started and helped with the original loadiine project. I was more than happy for others to get all the credit.

I will no longer be releasing anything to do with loadiine to the public. I will continue to help out on the temp with other issues when im around.

@Cyan if I can ever be bothered to return to this now tainted project in the future, it will probably only be to hand it over to you to do as you see fit. Although a littlle dissapointed, I am not blaming any single individual for my change of heart, it's only that my heart aches at this particular time.
I know just how you feel so sorry to here that! I lost my mum back in December last year, about a week before Christmas Day, it really really hurt at the time and tbh it seems like your the only one that it does, no one else really cares well that's how it feels! Don't expect condolences flooding through I would just keep your pain to yourself, they say it gets better but it doesn't and that's the truth. It still hurts now for me because I was so close to my mum :(

I don't think that will be compatible :(

Hey guys - quick simple question.

Is there a way to exit to the Wii U menu directly from loadiine. I can't seem to get back to the home menu without launching a game first - then exiting to menu.

If there is another way I would sure like to know....

You should be able to press the Home Button, it should take you to Mii Maker, which you can exit from regularly.

pressing home button when loading loadiine through the HBL should exit to HBL.
pressing home button when loading loadiine directly from the exploit (no HBL at all) should exit to miimaker. that's strange that it's reloading loadiine for you.

If it help, I've never been able to exit to the Home Menu directly from HBL or Loadiine by using the Home button; it always reloads the homebrew. And I've also noticed that just pressing the power button makes the whole console turn off.

You would have to add the exploit to your www folder, or use a host website like loadiine.ovh. it launches just like HBL, except you have to know the IPv4 address for your computer in order to connect your console to your computer to run the music mod.

Also, this is the wrong thread for this, I'd advice just starting a knew topic or finding a correct thread.

It would be great if there was a way to directly exit Loadiine to the Wii U Menu. Many times I just want to use padcon for my disc games, which means I have to boot up Loadiine, then a game, wait for it to be loaded and only then I'm able to exit to the home menu... It works of course, but if there was an easier way that would be great :)
