I have a phone for that and use ftpony on my system to transfer to SD card, then use jksm to import the save to game.
Oh cool, didn't know that was a thing. Well if I have time after I'm done I'll change the name on him and make a different save and PM it to you.

So, trying to figure out what's wrong with my Palicos.

For the one who keeps having his support skills removed, he's a Fighter type.
Attack Up (S) - Innate
Handicraft - Innate
Critical Up (L) - Tier B
Earplugs - Tier B
Critical Up (S) - Tier C
Boomerang Pro - Tier C
Tremor Res - Tier C
Stamina Drain - Tier C

So, he's a BBCCCC skill cat, which according to the guide should work just fine. He's only got skills that he could actually learn.

My other cat is a Charisma type.
His actions are being removed.

He has:

Palico Rally - Innate
Mini Barrel Bombay - Innate
Herb Horn - Innate
Health Horn - Tier A
Detox Horn - Tier B
Big Boomerangs - Tier C
Dung Bombay - Tier C

He's Charisma, so ABCCC should be valid for him.

The only thing I can think of is that it has something to do with the "Learned Action/Skill RNG" values on the first page of the Palico info.
But I have no idea what those should be changed to if anything.

Hello I am new here and would like to ask a couple of questions. I just got acess to homebrew using the oot and powersaves methods. I downloaded the mhgsv zip and put it in the root of my sd card so that it now shows up whenever I go to homebrew launcher. First off how do I make a backup of my mhg game? does the mhgsv I downloaded have the ability to backup saves or should I have just downloaded the jk save manager instead? Also if you do help me to backup my file how exactly do I go about save editing in mhg? I have apm save editor downloaded already but obviously haven't used it yet. a small little guide would be GREATLY appreciated.

You need to install JKSM.
Drop the File in the root.
Go into JKSM. Pop in your MHGen Cartridge (If you have the Digital Version use arrow keys to find it)
Then you have the options what to do with your saves. Take Export Save data and name them. (I always export twice just to be 100% sure)
Then edit the file on your PC (Its in the JKSM ---> extdata ---> Monster Hunter GEN ----> What you named it.
Put the file back into your 3DS.
Then do the same. But import it.

Ok thank you very much for the reply to my question so should I delete the mhgsv I put on my sd card or can I keep it and jksm on my sd card together?
