Hey guys, I installed the Skylanders Spyro Adventure CIA, but i dont have any skylander.

I did a little research here and the user DarkCrudus posted some save files that have the skylanders already loaded.

But the file is .sav How can i inject this save into my cia? I tried to use save manager but it didnt work.

.sav is for Gateway cards. If you don't have a Gateway and the .3ds version of the game, you can't convert it AFAIK.

It automatically exited the save manager back to homebrew. Then i loaded the game and there wasnt any saves there.

Ok, so if I have to get a game to do the update, what firmware should I aim to get? Is it better to find a game with 9.2 directly or doesn't it matter if it's 9, 4 or 6?

Only get a game with 4.x or 6.x as that allows you to use MSET. If you update to 9.2 you will also need a copy of Cubic Ninja, since your browser version will be too old to use any browser-based exploits in 9.2.

Yes that would probably work. JKSM would probably be better than save manager too.

JKSM recognize the .sav file and apparently restore it with no errors, but when i load the game there is no save.

There should be a option called "Delete secure value" try that.

Make sure your fbi is updated to latest version. 2.3.3 Then from fbi menu, select "Titles" Then find your game then "Delete Secure Value"

Has someone made a guide step by step going from gateway sys 4.5 with emunand and moving over to a9lh with Luma and keeping everything I would feel more comfortable seeing someone step by step or even a video of switching

I've ordered Lego Lord of the rings which is supposed to have 4.1.

But MSET? Should I not follow this?

8GB should be enough to get you through the A9LH Guide, though I'd consider upgrading down the road.

I did my A9LH install with a garden-variety 8 GB card rated at Class 10. No problems came up.
