LolThis. astro makes good stuff.
Would you mind saying why...
LolThis. astro makes good stuff.
Just think who created this updaterReally, I just want to know. I would not ask if I was not serious.
I have never seen any of his work. Also I tried to see but it looks like this is the only one he made a thread for.Just think who created this updater
I know for fact that he is the one behind this updater and the Luma hourly/nightly versionsI have never seen any of his work. Also I tried to see but it looks like this is the only one he made a thread for.
Here you go buddy https://github.com/astronautlevel2?tab=repositories
Next time try using f****g Google, k?
No need to start swearing. I saw his github already, honestly there is nothing worthwhile there either. (My Opinion) This updater looks great though. Here you go buddy https://github.com/astronautlevel2?tab=repositories

Every Luma updater uses my sites for their builds. Consider this as a "straight from the source" versionNo need to start swearing. I saw his github already, honestly there is nothing worthwhile there either. (My Opinion) This updater looks great though.
Okay thank you. I was just curious because some of you guys were making him sould like sombody very special.I know for fact that he is the one behind this updater and the Luma hourly/nightly versions
Ok, I get it. How come YOU make the Nightlies/hourlys? I mean like are you apart of the luma project or somthing?Every Luma updater uses my sites for their builds. Consider this as a "straight from the source" version
I'm not exactly a part of project Luma, I've talked some with the devs and they're both pretty great people. I'm just someone who had a spare server and tossed a script onto it that checked out, built, and then uploaded the compiled source.Ok, I get it. How come YOU make the Nightlies/hourlys? Disclaimer: I am not associated with Aurora Wright. These builds are provided entirely unofficially
Yes he is talented at what he does, I understand. Also, shut up. I would not be talking if I were you (Thank God I am Not). Whenever you see a question in a thread instead of being helpful you post stupid memes and insult people.I would say him making the hourly builds for everyone, and an updater that doesn't put you on the wrong version pretty special. But not special like you though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
you compile THEIR source release and put them on your server? I thought you made them from their normal releases.I'm not exactly a part of project Luma, I've talked some with the devs and they're both pretty great people. I'm just someone who had a spare server and tossed a script onto it that checked out, built, and then uploaded the compiled source.
I trust that even if he does tamper with them, they are safe. I was just curious how the nightlie thing worked. There's also the fact that you can grab the Luma source yourself, and compile its arm9loaderhax.bin to the ones Astro's server makes; if the hashes are identical for a given commit, then you know he's not tampering with anything (assuming you both have the latest devkitpro, of course).
What I meant by Normal release's are the ones like v5.3.1, v5.4, v5.5. Not the Nightlies.Look, @astronautlevel grabs the latest commit from here (https://github.com/aurorawright/luma3ds), compiles the code on his server, and packages it up nicely in a zip for everyone to download (including this updater). This process is done every 10 minutes iirc (and only when there's a new commit ofc).
I have no clue about what you mean from "normal releases", all releases here are "normal". If you can point a defect in his binaries that you can't notice in the main release (or vice versa) please do tell.
I merged a pull request yesterday that should fix that, I was hoping to implement other features before making a new release but I may make a v1.3.3.This is awesome and what I was really expecting!
What I only don't like about this is Lua itself. I had lag problems before updating, now I have bouncing problems (double [or more!] presses when I didn't mean to).
