I decided I'm going to ditch Gateway and start the setup now @ https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-1-(Homebrew)

Is there a video tutorial on this setup that anyone followed and would reccomend thanks!

Also Is there a guide on how to setup my spare Blue Gateway card to use as a NDS Flash card for CFW A9LH?
Video tutorials are never recommended because they are likely to include old builds or methods.. and are a lot less informative and up to date than the guide, which includes super bold and italic fonts for important information that video guides may leave out altogether.

I don't think there's a tutorial but the steps are easy enough to follow without one.. as for the blue gateway card, it should work without any extra work after going through the guide as you'll have Luma3DS (@wormdood here :P)

Okay i need a little help :c

On downgrading steps.

It says: "If you are already on 9.2.0-20, skip to step 18."

But on the very first and second step it says:
  1. Copy and merge the 3ds folder from the PlaiSysUpdater zip to root of your SD card
  2. Copy and merge the 3ds folder from the EmuNAND9 zip to root of your SD card
Which i just downloaded them and I dont know if im meant to put them on my SD card still?

You still need emuNAND9, but not PlaiSysUpdater. You will need PlaiSysUpdater anyway later on in the guide so it wouldn't hurt to copy it on.

Okay now my 2DS wont boot into hombrew anymore???
Hold on, which step did you do last? Also, why did you start from Part 1 if you already had Gateway? (You were using EmuNand, right? Do you have a backup of your SD card and an EmuNAND backup? Have you formatted anything since following the Plailect guide?)

Hold on, which step did you do last?

I did These 2 steps:
  1. Copy and merge the 3ds folder from the PlaiSysUpdater zip to root of your SD card
  2. Copy and merge the 3ds folder from the EmuNAND9 zip to root of your SD card
Then Did step:

18. When you have booted, change your theme to anything else, then change it back to remove the old menuhax version

Now Im stuck on:

19. Reinstall menuhax using browserhax and the HomeBrew Launcher (you do not need to reconfigure, just press install in menuhax_manager)

But i can't seem to boot the Hombrew anymore when i hold D-Pad down? Just go's straight to the homepage.

Also, why did you start from Part 1 if you already had Gateway? (You were using EmuNand, right? Do you have a backup of your SD card and an EmuNAND backup? Have you formatted anything since following the Plailect guide?)

I Ditched Gateway, and by "Ditched" I mean i've left it on my desk lol. I'm using a whole new SD Card for this setup, and leaving Gateway alone. So i guess my backup is in my gateway card and the other SD card.

So yes i formatted my new 64GB SD Card to Fat32 and using that.

Yeah, you need to reinstall menuhax, meaning it won't work til you do, so just boot homebrew the way you did before you installed menuhax (ninjhax, oothax...).

I dont know what Cubic Ninja is? But are you telling me i have to reinstall the Hombrew?
menuhax is what allowed you to boot homebrew by holding down on d pad while booting. before being able to do so, you had to access homebrew by other means, depending on what your entrypoint was (browserhax and so on, the one you used at the start of the guide).

You need to access menuhax, so you need the homebrew launcher in order to boot it and then use its settings to install it.

Cubic Ninja is a entry point to install the Hbl, so you can use Menuhax from the list of homebrew apps. If your stuck at this part and unsure of Cubic Ninja and entry points, I'd advise to leave this for now, as things will get a bit more in depth later in the tutorial.

It got deleted after the formatting or whatever, just install it again, that's what the guide is telling you. In other words, repeat Part 1 one of the guide, that's all there is to it.

EDIT - make sure you change the theme to another one and back again before attempting to install

I Really appreciate the help here guys!!

I have another Question: I Have a backup of my sysNAND.bin and The Size is;

Mine-
965,632 KB = 943 MB

Recommended-
+ Toshiba NAND:
988.807.168 bytes = 943 MB

+ Toshiba NAND:
1.979.711.488 bytes = 1.84GB

+ Samsung NAND:
1.000.341.504 bytes = 954 MB

+ Samsung NAND:
1.300.234.240 bytes = 1.21GB

And the closest one is the first one but the KB's are off. Should I Delete it and start a new one or is it Okay?

I'm honestly not sure if it has to be identical to the byte, I don't remember checking bytes, only MB. I'd say you're ok to go but I could be wrong.

I Tried it again just incase and the KB's are:

965,632 KB = 943 MB, So I'm guessing it must okay for the MB, hopefully x)
