I just followed the guide and setup A9LH on my O3DSXL. everything seemed to be working fine until i tried to install a via in my emunand. nothing shows up when it finished. if i boot holding L and go into 9.2 sysnand and boot into my gateway then the cia shows up there and can be unwrapped. booting again into emunand and the cia is still not there. its really weird. any ideas whats happening?

I am pretty sure this has already been answered, but quick question. With the latest update, does this mean we can delete the files, "updatedsysnand," "reversereboot," and "usepatchedfw?" Or does it mean that those files will be created automatically, so we don't have to create them?

As far as using the firms for AuReiNAND, since I have A9LH and I'm on O3DS am I supposed to use both the rei-o3ds firms? (firmware.bin from the root folder and firmware90.bin from the A9LH folder) That's what I've been doing, but I'm now wondering if it's necessary at all.

EDIT: I'm using Updated SysNAND mode.

Yeah, I'd prefer having it like that tbh.
I want to have the payload set to R, not L+R.

Using arm9select would free up the L and R buttons used in AuReiNand already and I believe it works with all current A9LH payloads.
Easier button combo to remember and press = uber user friendliness.

And what do you do when you want to launch the ARN Select menu? You also forget you have to power on the console and then press the buttons almost instantly.

rename your payload to say start.bin and do not use select.bin if you need to enter the menu frequently. Personally you should really only need to enter the menu once to setup. But say you update to a future AuReiNand release say 3.13 at that time delete the config.bin and when you power on the menu auto loads without any button press.

The following buttons are free to be mapped to A9LH payloads in AuReiNand: a,x,y,up,down, right, left, select and start.

It just so happens those same buttons are available to be mapped with arm9select without requiring the extra effort to push in conjunction with L+R.

When I delete all those I cant even boot into sysnand. I think im doing something wrong trying to get this new version to work.

Now I'm wondering what happens if you set a payload to select.bin. I think it's going to be ignored since version 3.12.

After setting config.bin in AuReiNand I renamed one of my payloads to select.bin. When I powered on the payload loaded as it should in arm9select. It loaded Uncart.bin (my select.bin) instead of the config menu of AuReiNand. Like I said before after setting config.bin unless you need to reconfigure for some reason (switch to updated sysnand) you could delete the config.bin from the aurei folder and when you power on the 3ds (assuming AuReiNand is your default.bin) the config menu would load without requiring any button presses because when config.bin is not present AuReiNand auto loads to it when powering on.

Alright, so I have a new question concerning the new AuReiNAND configuration menu.

What do the options "Use pre-patched FIRMs" and "Force A9LH detection" do?

That's obvious, arm9select checks the buttons before it loads the default payload. I'm wondering about the ARN payload loader, not arm9select.
