I've recently received a 3ds that's on 4.4 and everywhere I look I see people talking about 4.5 for rxtools. I won't need to jump through any extra hoops for 4.4 right?

4.4 = 4.5 = 4.2 = 4.X

Updating from 4.5 to 9.2 went fine ! thanks everyone for your helpful answers

I updated from 4.5 to 9.2 using UpdateCDN.py CIAs and sysUpdater. Now I can't access Cubic Ninja because my spider is still on version 1.7489, and MSET kicks me back out. Only gateway and launch.rxtools.net ROP works. I'm just about ready to nuke everything and start over from my nand backup, but is there any way I can fix this? I can still access rxTools, but I can't use Pasta.

Is it safe to do so in rxMode Sysnand? Because that's the only way I can access FBI right now.

Yes, it is a signed cia directly from Nintendo. Although, if you somehow mess up, you'll lose your last method to boot rxtools.

My N3DS 9.9 patiently awaits your work, and I've successfully installed rxTools on my 3DSXL 4.2 and my girlfriend's 3DSXL 4.2. We love rxTools, and it's possibly the greatest firmware yet - especially since I can successfully boot the Gateway emuNAND, and have thus sold one of the cards but kept the second for emergencies. However, her SON'S 3DS is another story. 9.2, no browser, only his Sky3DS. Which I hate. Like, seriously, I hate the card, I hate how shoddy it feels, and I REALLY hate the misuse of Bumblebee of Transformers plastered on the card like "Why am I even here? I'm not even a mascot. This is dumb. Screw you guys, I'm going back to Cybertron...".

Are we -anywhere- close to finding an injection point without a browser? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to maybe use the Sky3DS to inject a browser to give him an entry point?

Try ninjhax on your 9.2 device.

Eh? Couldn't you use the MSET downgrade to install the dsprofile exploit for rxtools? I've done it on a sysnand 9.2 2DS, perhaps that might work for you.

Sounds like you are missing the slot0x25keyX.bin, or have a bad one.

I thought about this. I check md5 of my bin by slot0x25KeyX Generator v1.2 and sum is correct. So, i don't know what to do with this

I don't know which CIA installer you're using. But iirc, some couldn't overwrite special existing titles, and this could lead to a bricked emunand.
Since you're on O3DS, 4.5. If you don't use some applets (notifications?) you may even just update it in system settings (MSET) on emunand.
Hope you could get it updated as your expectation..
Note: sysupdater doesn't work on rxMode, reiMode, or any other including firmlaunch. I think it just doesn't support emunand updates.
