Why many people report having the 9.0 version after it?

Well I did exactly as said, but it seems I don't have MSET functionality. I've tried to run rxTools and palantine CFW, neither works. Spider exploit for rxTools is still functional thankfully. The NNID settings aren't present in the settings menu. Also, it reports version 9.0.0-20E instead of the 9.2.0-20E I installed.

How do I go about restoring the save? I have a sky3ds running OOT to boot gateway menu and also have CN on the sky3ds. When I try to restore I get an error? Does anyone have the N3ds ninjhax 9.2.0-20U save for a sky3ds?

For the mset its normal, pasta and rxtools were not compatible with mset on 9.2 you can just load the gateway menu. For your version, sometimes it was happening to me too, I don't know why. Restore your 4.X nand backup and retry but compare with my update folder first :

If you don't see the NNID option in system settings you have a pre-7.x System Settings. MSET will still work on it, but current MSET rop chains are setup to use the newer exploits. Gateway is thus far the only ones that made something compatible with MSET on a 9.x system. But that's exclusive to n3DS currently.

I would hope PastaCFW becomes the first besides Gateway to use MSET on 9.x.

So Im still having troubles with pasta :/ Ive installed bbm and nothing, I know they installed and they want to show up on the homemenu but when the 2ds loads settings icon the cias i installed make a grey outline and then disapear any help today? btw sorry im having trouble and being annoying

I'm not going to tamper any more, I'm happy, as long as I'll be able to MSET into PastaCFW when that launches.

No, (future) mset support for pasta is for 4.0 to 9.2.

But on 9.2 (or 7.X, 8.X) you must have a downgraded mset to 4.X or 6.X.

I'm probably a bit lost here, but I have a question.

Since Pasta CFW relies on Ninjhax, Ninjhax relying on spider/SKATER, can't the source be compiled as a binary, then converted for use with spider by Yifan's spider3DStools to cut the need of Cubic Ninja? I mean using his browserify tool to generate the JavaScript payload, and pairing that with the HTML documents for the frame error.

Then again, I feel it could never be that simple.
