Hacking [HOWTO] Use OOT Exploit on SKY3DS/Non Working Carts

Can anyone confirm this is working on their Sky3DS? Over on MaxConsole, was asked to Verify.

Which template i should use or it doesn't matter?

Does not matter. Just use either the 2nd or 3rd Slot for the Image. Also Update Gateway to 3.2 . Works SO MUCH BETTER

It works well with original OOT cart.

Samsung cards are shit. Sandisk are ok, but not very compatible with this particular hack. Pull out the internal 4 GB microSD (Toshiba) from your N3DS and use it in the Sky3DS for Zelda OOT. People have reported that these cards work best for this hack. Or you know... go the Cubic Ninja route, like everyone else. It's a Sky3DS. You don't have to use Zelda OOT.

Make sure the OTT Save is in the 2nd or 3rd Slot. Also, after every time you press A, give it about 5-10 Seconds. This Exploit is kind of touchy. Suggest when you finally get this going, to Update to the latest Gateway. Works a hell of a lot better and only need the GW Red Card.

I do not want to use cubic ninja for gateway because I already use it for NTR CFW

How would one go about doing it? My head's spinning from all the variables here. I have a gateway card, and I'm going to get myself a Sky3DS (blue) today. Are there any save files to worry about? Or do I just use Diskwriter to write the ROM onto the microSD and prepare everything on the N3DS side?

Just use Diskwriter to write the ROM to your microSD and then follow these instructions taken from the official Gateway website.

The installation for the Cubic Ninja launching method works as follows:
* Make sure WiFi is configured and working on your New 3DS (You will only need this once)
* Make sure Gateway 3.1.1 Launcher.dat is placed on the New 3DS microSD card
* Start “Cubic Ninja”
* Go to “Create” menu option
* Select “QR Code”
* Select “Scan QR Code”
* Scan the Gateway Cubic Ninja QR code found in the Downloads section for you region
* After a brief wait, a Cubic Ninja savegame will be installed
* And the Gateway menu will be launched

I can't seem to get this to work consistently with the sky3ds. Sometimes it works other times it says corrupted save or just no saves at all.

Thanx, the first OOT GW save from the first post did the trick, it worked!
Gear:
New 3DS firmware - XL 9.2.0-20EU (MH4UE)
OoT - Front: LNA-CTR-AQEP-EUR Back: AQEP710111

FYI: it didn't worked with a 32GB Sandisk MicroSD, gave a save error, worked with 4GB original MicroSD. The official GW save also gave a save error.
I had to press the A button directly after the save was loaded and you could see Link in the hut or the game would freeze.

On a sidenote, you can just hotswap the microsd card for a bigger one when running bigbluemenu to install .cia's.

I fix JP GW OOT Save.My oot is AQEJ610220 and I don't know this save work in other oot.

I confirm this works.

Also AQEJ610220 cart purchased on launch Nov 2011. Transferred save with DATEL Powersave PRO. Regular JP OOT save from Gateway team corrupted, fixed save works! Thank you.

So im trying to do the OOT exploit on my new 9.0.0-20U (usa region), i tried with 2 different OOT games, one was launch version, other lot recent(could notice by the serial on the cartridge), neither with the gateway save or the one provided here could i be successful with the exploit, i just get the save data corrupted

now what is unusual? the guys helping me with the save restore has a new 3ds JAP region, im using latest gateway launcher file and all, after trying with 2 different versions of the OOT cartridge i dont know why it isnt working, any guess?
