They said that O3DS & 2DS haven't this new encryption, so why they don't release update for those devices?

They made n3DS owners wait for some time, so now to be just, they make o3DS owners wait.

Yeah it seems legit ^^
But if they made n3DS users wait it's because the exploit wasn't "ready" in same time that o3DS, in the main case, o3DS exploit should be ready

and yes... you want all systems to be homogenous going forward. When you support multiple hardware in one release *cough*AKAIO*cough* you have to keep them in sync or else you get MORE complaints about "why it work on THIS but not THIS it same software!!!"

So take a break and watch cartoons.

And always backu p your emunand before upgrading it so you can inject it back in case new version not work.

GW are a bunch of useless ducks. KARL has done half their lifetime progress in a month. It's already clear they have no passion save for the money for their cheap plastic DRM

its clear they are waiting to steal someones work and release it as their own when they want :D

If gateway didn't release exploits most of KARL features wouldn't even exists because most of the hackers in the scene keep everything for themselves. Wake up

It's because they start feeling responsible for their actions. If you enable piracy for everyone you're indirectly cutting into Nintendo's losses.
They often forget that Nintendo should be responsible for not having these issues to begin with. It would be a different story if Nintendo allowed homebrew applications but guess what.. they patch all efforts leading to code execution but don't give a shit about Sky3DS which is the biggest threat at the moment. Hackers have lost their balls for the last generation by limiting features on purpose. Fun fact: without piracy, homebrew wouldn't be that popular to begin with. They buy the system because they want to play games. Homebrew is just a bonus and very few people buy a console/handheld just for homebrew.

Doesn't rxTools use the same emuNAND format as Gateway? You can just use that for now, it works great. You'll just need to put the rxTools .dat launcher on the SD and that's it.

Just saying that without gateway all you would have was ninjhax and sky3ds. Let's face that.

For many, homebrew was the sole reason to own the original Xbox. The interest in homebrew is also what made Gamepark\Dingoo machines so popular.

I wonder if that was the point of game streaming
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    But it's a dead end
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, people who cant download it can still play the game
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

@BigOnYa, i only have like 1 or 2 mb sec

Did you feed the hamster in your internet router? It prob died and is running slow now.

@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

im taking a break for today anyway

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
