Anybody who didn't, and diligently transferred to a New right away is now stuck on it, without eShop, and having to track down updates in .cia form on their own.Anybody who procrastinated on a system transfer all the way to now has nobody to blame but themselves. Not a single tear was shed that day.
Is it really that hard to "track down" cia updates? Really?Anybody who didn't, and diligently transferred to a New right away is now stuck on it, without eShop, and having to track down updates in .cia form on their own.
In fact those who didn't transfer are better off, as they can use 9.6 emuNAND with rxTools.
And how about those who reacted on time but were still waiting for their copies of OoT and CN to arrive in the mail? Are they to blame themselves as well?
Yet the Gateway Team hasn't even acknowledged that 9.6 exists. Not a single tear indeed.

They are all in a nice little subforum and in most cases with nice cover art and all you have to do is click the shiny picture and off you go to the download site.
Yes, they are, but you have to find the latest update for every title you want to update. Then, it must also be the right region. Not all of them are available. And often, once you find it, it turns out the links are down.Is it really that hard to "track down" cia updates? Really?

Nope, no issues thereThere won't be issues if I have some ROMS updated with eShop and other with downloaded cia updates?
Which is incredibly simple to do. Any more first world problems you'd like to #deardiary about?Anybody who didn't, and diligently transferred to a New right away is now stuck on it, without eShop, and having to track down updates in .cia form on their own.
Two points:GW are a bunch of useless ducks. KARL has done half their lifetime progress in a month. It's already clear they have no passion save for the money for their cheap plastic DRM
It doesn't support gateway there, and installed games. Works like GW's classic mode, but that's not most of the people here want anyway.Doesn't GW support 9.6.0 via rxTools?
Well, can't you use it to access the eShop and download game patches at least? It doesn't support gateway there, and installed games. Works like GW's classic mode, but that's not most of the people here want anyway.
You can already do that by installing CIA files, which are simple to use. Not many ppl will be willing to go through so much trouble just to buy one of the eshop's overpriced titles when you can simply but the retail game and dump it.Well, can't you use it to access the eShop and download game patches at least?
Yes, but if new patches come out before GW adds 9.6 support, how will people make cias to upload? Would rxTools help here? You can already do that by installing CIA files, which are simple to use.
