how does a roundtrip to australia sound. no seriously, if you can get a new unused australian n3ds, i somewhat doubt they come with 9.3 or higher. and if it is, you can still sell it again (or keep it, as the EU release will be 9.3+ for sure anyway).

using math, i estimate that shipping + import taxes should come down to about 260-280€ total, when ordering on play asia.

Tip: When FedEx invoices you the custom charges, email them about the admin charge and they will take it off.

Though I don't see the point in importing when it's released soon.

Unfortunatly I don't know what admin charge means and why they should cancel it then? I already paid so it doesn't matter anymore.

I ordered the Australian one because of the firmware. Its unclear which firmware is introduced when releasing in Europe and I didn't want to risk it.
