Is there any benefit if i am ALREADY since before this update using gateway?

I thought the advantage was to UPDATE to 9.x and STILL use gateway.

For them to be offering an option to downgrade to that, I bet yes.

Yes, it's still better to have 4.5. There are some benefits to upgrading to 3.0, but I'm just going to wait on the full release to take the jump from 2.7.

Just gonna toss this in here since it's not getting answered anywhere else.

Upon receiving a Streetpass this morning on emuNAND, I attempted to enter the plaza. I get error code 009-8401 that says "The update data is corrupted." It wants me to go into data management and delete the update data, but I haven't yet (I was under the impression that visiting data management wiped out your .cias). If I hit OK, the plaza prompts me to re-download the software update data. Hitting yes brings me back to that same error screen, and I'm then kicked back to the home menu. What's that all about?

I'm also getting error 022-2634 upon trying to enter the eShop or Miiverse. Thinking it's something NNID related, but when I visit NNID Settings it kicks me back to sysNAND.

Is there a more centralized "Newbish Gateway Owner Questions" thread?

Try deleting the supposed update that the plaza is mentioning via devmenu if it's there.

Just realized my Pokemon X save is now corrupt (Not that I mind much). Does this have anything to do with emunand?

Would that be in the CTR list or the ExtData list? Sorry, I'm new to everything in devmenu that isn't under the SDMC tab.

I previously unlinked my 9.2 sN and 9.4 eN before downgrading to 4.2; if they're still unlinked, would it be possible to delete the corrupted update data from eN's data management or would it wipe the .cias?

If you unlinked them, you can only access sysnand data management. And if it has the same error, There should be no problem (At your own risk)

Alright, just did an SD/emuNAND backup, gonna try deleting the "update data" from data management.

Oh. I do remember installing some plaza games from a .cia and they worked fine before I started getting Streetpass hits, not sure if it's coincidental or if it's causing the issue somehow.
