More games may be announced later on but since it's the Wii U, don't get your hopes up.

Exclusives:
1. Captain Toad Treasure Tracker this should've just been DLC for Mario 3D World than its own game
2. Devil's Third
3. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
4. Mario Maker
5. Mario Party 10
6. Shin Megami X Fire Emblem
7. Splatoon
8. Star Fox
9. The Legend of Zelda
10. Xenoblade Chronicles X
11. Yoshi's Woolly World

Multiplatforms:
  1. Human Element
  2. Project Cars
  3. Yoga Master

Small amount but still good though.

The games for 2015 I'm thinking of picking up are Zelda, Xenoblade, Splatoon, Yoshi, Shin Megami and Star Fox plus Human Element & Project Cars (unless they decide to cancel the Wii U version). I'm feelin' a bit sceptical 'bout Devil's Third.

With the GameCube adaptor for the Wii U being released later this year it'd be cool if Nintendo published Mario Sunshine, Smash Melee, Mario Kart Double Dash and other NGC titles.

WHAT?!
When did Nintendo announce that they would be releasing NGC games for the Wii U?! O.o

Aren't you refering to the USB adapter for Gamecube controllers for Smash Bros.?
If that's so, don't make assumptions in such way.
It tends to get confusing and I don't see Nintendo released GC games for the Wii U, hell we don't even have N64 and DS games yet and they announced them in Q1 of this year.

I meant to also write "adaptor" which is what Nintendo's going to release for the Wii U, a GameCube USB Adaptor that you can plug in your original NGC controller or NGC-Smash controller (new ones for pre-order).

Keen for Zelda and Mario Maker (only for the novelty because as far as Mario level editors go we have the most superior editors available online for free). But the rest seem to be doomed for the back-catalog. The Mario spin-offs coming up are so vanilla I don't even feel the desire to rush out and preorder them anytime soon.

Still waiting for a real Mario game for Wii U.

wrong, there is a DS game on WiiU: Brain Age
whether or not you can call this thing actually a game, is up to you
but would be nice, if we would get some more, actual DS games
Well for people outside of the US, yeah, but since I live in Mexico and that counts as USA (the whole freaking continent is considered North America it seems), I am f*cked with no DS game at all.
I did know about Brain Age but it has been more than a month since and there has been no other DS game, not to mention it was time-limited.

These 3 games are the only ones in this list that i'll be getting.
There are sure to be more 2015 titles announced but these 3 alone would equate to a successful year for the Wii U.

People still believe in Fire Emblem x Vaporware Megami Tensei? Really now?

Also holy shit goes without saying but that list is dismal.

During E3's Project Steam press conference, someone asked Hitoshi Yamagami if that game would mean a delay in SMT X FE development and he answered that it's right on schedule and that fans shouldn't worry ... also why are you on a forum called GBATemp if you hate Nintendo that much :P

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
why the shit does the shitbox randomly insert newlines in my messages
  • Veho @ Veho:
It does that when I edit a post.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It inserts a newline in a random spot.
