But I don't think we can generate xorpads from zero key roms?
I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Could you compile what I have in the .rar folder I uploaded? Maybe it won't work for you. I don't get where the problem is.
no the one i put together works with the xorpads for a normal VC rom, i.e not the pokemon injected ones, you can use either, but the one i put together should work with whatever you throw at it not just the bbb gbc gamesBut I don't think we can generate xorpads from zero key roms?

There's a really noob friendly solution in the other top thread in this subforum. I have yet to test it though (I'm having problems no one else is having for some reason).

despite it seeming a little bit more difficult, its more versatile and doesn't rely on the BBB pokemon VC games, so it works with pretty much any game you care to edit
I just want to say that my problem was solved by doing everything from zero using this: #44
Sadly I never figured what was wrong with the process I was doing.
Firstly, I used a brand new copy of the same Pokemon BBB rom I was using, so I got brand new extracted files.
I replaced ONLY the rom and it worked.
Then I replaced my custom banner and icon and it worked
Then I modified the rsf with funny customisation and it worked as well
I would like if I didn't depend of tools like this, but I'm still glad people take the work to make things easier.

no he means other 3ds games....i.e mario kart 7
ps whilst on the subject i realized you would probably have to adjust the rsf.rsf file to make a 1GB rom for mario kart
Sorry, I meant fully editing 3DS roms, not just replacing stuff in VC titles.

I cant get my rom to generate.
I downloaded a pokemon crystal rom.
dragged it to "prepare"
and then dragged my other gbc rom to createrom
but nothing is happening. Could you possibly explain how to do this please? I am using the link you gave me by the way.

Yes, as it was said above, you have to use one of the BigBlueBox releases of Pokemon, which are VC titles, not just .gbc roms.
