Hey so I believe I was using version 4.2u when my wii first became bricked. It would load to the health and safety screen and freeze. I was able to get it into the system menu occasionally and installed Bootmii as boot2 and the priiloader. I also made a nand backup through bootmii (although this was only after the wii was first bricked). I tried a few fixes which didn't work (I could post some of them if you guys are interested) and then used modmii to downgrade to 4.1 u and install a bunch of IOS's. Now when I start the Wii it will just boot to a black screen and I lose the video signal. I can still load the priiloader and get to the homebrew channel through that, however whenever I try to start a game or go to the wii system menu I get the black screen and no video signal. Is there anything I can do to get my wii back to normal? Thanks guys

Getting a black screen when running a game is what is really throws me off.

You're missing a couple IOS's there, so try installing IOS12 and IOS13 again. See if SysCheck works then.

Sorry, that's what I meant. I opened MMM thru Homebrew and then installed the IOS's with the IOS manager. When I launch Smash Bros Brawl thru the USB GX loader the game will load but then freeze in a few seconds

I was just able to launch Super Mario Galaxy 2 successfully off of the disc using the Neogamma launcher tool. However, I just received a black screen when I tried the same thing with my burned copy of Mega Man Anniversary Collection for Gamecube

The system mennu seems to launch properly now (with sound) when I boot it thru Priiloader or Homebrew, but when I just turn on the console normally I still just get a black screen (no sound or signal)

@K3Nv2, RIP Felix does great videos on the PS3 yellow-light-of-death.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    but that's a long shot
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:
