Well at least it's an interesting one if I was wanting to pirate Wii-U games this one would be on my list for sure.

This is an excellent game. You really should buy it. I bought it on the first day.

PS3 games are up to 50 GB, we've been downloading and sharing them for years.

This is how it's like with Blu Ray.

There is more to life then video games. I don't even have enough time to keep up with Nintendo games. So no, I don't play Sony games too.

You don't need a video store to rent games. You can get them from RedBoxes and don't forget GameFly. I would subscribe to GameFly again if I could rip the games.

This is pretty great news. Even though Im not all for piracy, especially on a console thats struggling so much like Wii U, hopefully this will spark homebrew intrest.

nope near brisbane there's only 2 video shops left in the area both network video and they both don't have wii-u games for rent. network video possibly the only video shops still in existence the rest went out of business. there was a blockbuster and video ezy they closed down. hardly anyone goes to vid stores anymore their going extinct due to movie downloads and streaming online.

i know with wii scene , proper dumps were allowed scrubs were nuked , alot of people dont share your opinion and prefer proper dumps you can check against with redump

a lot of people don't have fucking 100mb/s connections and unlimited bandwidth either and don't share YOUR opinion. nearly all wii-u games aren't even close to 23gb and downloading extra gb when it's not even needed is stupid.

wah wah i got poor speeds...i can share my opinion if i want. its an open forum. there isn't even a way to scrub them yet ,
so tough shit your outta the loop then anyway

You'll probably have to scrub them yourself with a tool to start with. Since they know how the file system works, that shouldn't take long unless the loader itself needs to preserve the disc image to actually work... then you're boned and HAVE to download the full single/dual layer bluray images.

I am suprised noone has mentioned this yet. Wii U discs, like Wii discs, are encrypted. With the Wii we were able to decrypt them to find out which areas were game data and which were garbage data, which could then be scrubbed so it would compress. We can't do that with the Wii U yet, so the only option is to release the full, unscrubbed image. That is why all releases with be the full disc size until the decryption is figured out.

Scrubbed release is not a proper scene release.

Plus this "garbage" can be used to check disc authenticity.

its kl they are getting ripped. obviously its a start. but i dont like the fact they ask u to donate bitcoins...... i wouldnt mind donating to developers but this is all happening purely for the benefit of the ODDE makers.
