I would really love for physical memory card support on the original Wii or for MCEmu to work in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. My disc is scratched, so I can't use Devolution, and DIOS MIOS doesn't always start well (I think it might be my hard drive).

I don't want to make demands, though, you all are doing great work and I don't know the first thing about coding for the Wii, so is there any way that I could help? Testing or something maybe?

Weird, Devolution should read it even with scratches. Believe me, I have used discs on the verge of breaking and Devolution reads them. Try downloading a 1:1 iso for that game and retry the verification in Devolution.

Also, the latest revisions for Nintendon't have been implementing MC Emu fixes, try the latest r80 with Fire Emblem and see if it works with MC Emu.

r80 is working pretty well so far.
Almost all the games i tried that worked also had working memory cards.
Luigi's Mansion NTSC freezes when you choose to format tho but still, amazing.
Super Mario Sunshine NTSC now has saving.
Legend of Zelda Wind Waker NTSC now has saving.
Mario Kart Double Dash NTSC, Star Fox Assault NTSC, and Soul Calibur 2 NTSC all support working saves now.
This is getting pretty legit.

For the Wii U owners with the "Loading sd init..." followed by a system reboot - here's what I've discovered. If this was blatantly obvious to everyone & I missed it somehow, my apologies in advance.

r80 (along with all revisions in the r6x-r7x range) kept rebooting the Wii U upon displaying "loading sd init..." - My images were good, clean rips; My SD cards worked great with prior revisions; etc. r80 needs to have the files ndebug, nincfg.bin, & nloader to work in vWii. I formatted my SD card every time I would try a new revision and r80 would create these files but were all corrupted. Long story short: I ran my game with r38, let that dol create the aforementioned files, let the game boot, play for a minute & restart the Wii U. Replace r38 with r80 and voila. Worked like a charm. On a clean SD, r80 seems to try to write these files but fails & corrupts the SD.

Whats missing on nintendont? I see it very complete except for the bluetooth compatibility

Stealth support, physical memory cards, audio streaming, more stuff I can't remember

It has come a long way since December

I think stealth support is coming soon. Someone uploaded an unchecked patch for it on the google code page.

I can make a raw back up using GCMM but what format shall I convert them to in order for them to work on Nintendont? And is compatibility good enough or do many save files get corrupted during the process? many games like Virtua Striker 2002 seem to only work if you make a raw back up for the save then transfer to Dolphin but copying the save alone using GCMM doesn't work otherwise!

I didn't see anyone reply to you so I don't know if you already figured it out but...

If you open Dolphin emulator in a pc, in the Tools tab you have a memory card manager for GC. Simply open that, load the ninmem.raw you have for nintendon't and the raw you got from using GCMM and then transfer all your saves. Regarding the "corruption", then it's quicker if you try. I think it's highly unlikely that your physical memory card will be damaged in the process so you can always try again.

Edit: in the newest rev each game has its own memory card, so you'd have to load each game once to create them, and then use the memory card manager to transfer each save, one at a time.

Yes, Maxternal post the Ustealth patch (strange that is not installed with r80...) but for me, an auto-updater or a update option on the Nintendon't it isn't a bad idea (for me).

Can you run the game just to see if it is working on a Wii U without having a controller connected?

Buy Magic Joy Box adapter if you want to use a gamecube controller. 1/3 of the price of the ps3 controller.

It's quite difficult to get my hands on one where I live.
If I had a way to buy it through eBay or Amazon and then make it ship directly here that would be great. But out of that I have no other resources or places where I can get it.

Not sure how it's done directly from nintendon't, as I've never tried it myself. But if the second disc is named disc2.iso in the same folder as the first disc and you use a loader like loadergx it will ask you which disc to load. So you could choose the second disc there.

Screw this, as soon as I get paid this Friday, I will buy a PS3 Controller, I don't care if I don't eat in 3 days. XD

I'd rather try with a cheap gamepad first, it's not like only PS3 or GC controller work... Unless of course, the ps3 has analog shoulders, i don't see the advantage of having one just for this. just my opinion though.

Edit: I just read the ps3 has pressure sensitive shoulders so, yeah. I guess it's worth getting them to have a full experience with GC games.

The ps3 (or ps4) controller is by far the easiest controller to buy for Nintendont. Pretty much any big store sells them.

Yes but nintendont r80 with the new format of mem cards (individual for each game) freezes loading mem card (counter dont past 10) :( and in wiiflow nintendont gives me DSI error all time....is strange :(

The thing with the controllers is the price. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy an expensive controller for a console i don't have just to play GC games because I don't have money to spare on such a thing. Regardless, if I had the choice I would prefer them because some games react differently to the pressure applied on the L/R buttons and that brings you closer to the experience of playing on a real Gamecube; and getting a ps3 controller is easier than buying an adapter to use a GC controller.

I didn't test the new rev yet, does it create a memory card for each game now? I don't use wiiflow so I don't know. Which version of the game are you playing? pal or ntsc? and in which console?
