Please check the link at the beginning of my post for the thread with a really good comparison chart.
Oh I see...well there is one creator of hack for NSMB 3 mention use R4. Which flashcart is bestest to work for everything? No lagging for game.
Best flashcard for low budget pirates is the Acekard 2i.
The R4 is only a good one if it supports Wood.
Otherwise it's a piece of junk.
Well I am using regular DS.The chart includes the most popular flashcarts.
If you have a DS Lite system you may as well start out with the cheapest one (R4 Revolution Original). If you have a DSi or 3DS you can't use that R4.
Asking what's most popular, without asking about any other features, as if there is a #1 cart, is not going to get you straight answers from anyone on this forum, because the features are important to everyone who owns and uses them.

So wrong, Acekard 2i and R4 are pretty much the same, if anything R4 is better as it is not spring-loaded, much less likely to break and has MUCH more frequent updates (with Wood). AK2i USED to be better, but an R4 + Wood does everything you need it to (unless you want to emulate, or play DSi games).

It all depends on your needs:
- r4 (original): cheapest flashcart and is officially supported by wood, although it doesn't support sdhc cards (anything bigger than 4gb). The cart is not supported anymore, so it doesn't even support the dsi. For people who wants a cheap cart that does the job on a ds phat/lite.
- r4i Gold 3ds: $10~20-ish and is officially supported by wood. Supports sdhc cards (up to 32gb) and is still supported by the team to work on the latest dsi/3ds. For people who want wood r4 on any system.
- acekard 2i: $10~20-ish and is officially supported by akaio. Supports sdhc cards (up to 32gb) and is still supported by the team to work on the latest dsi/3ds. There are some downsides, like contact issues (usually on ds lites), although I personally like akaio over wood. For people who want official akaio on any system.
- SuperCard DSTwo: 30~50-ish and is officially supported by the team. Supports sdhc cards (up to 32gb) and is still supported by the team to work on the latest dsi/3ds. Has additional features using its on-board CPU. For people who want additional features on any system.
Well I am not going to use 3ds flashcart because I might not able to buy 3ds for christmas.if you refer to r4 card, then r4i gold 3ds from r4ids.cn maybe the best one.it with a frequent kernel update to make this card more stable, what's more,it was the first card to support 3ds v2.2.0_4,you can read this thread : http://www.digitopz....3ds-p-216.html. if get rid of r4 series,i think, the best slot_1 card was dstwo, and at present,it can support 3ds v2.2.0_4 too,if you dont care about the price, you can choose dstwo.
I didnt say most cheapest price. I said most of people use R4 for good reason. Not a price.>R4
>"Best"
I think you meant most affordable. Other than the price, and Wood support, it is complete and total shit. If you refer to this, you will notice it has the lowest compatibility among all popular cards.
Man...I can't choose. Well I need make a vote for people's option. (I can't spell right.) You don't mind if I do that?
