Hi, I was trying to install a theme found on riiconnect24 website (darkwiiplus from https://rc24.xyz/goodies/themes/ ), I followed this guide very carefully but when I choose my theme and select install, mymenuifymod says installing, then it's supposedly done (but no confirmation whatsoever), I go back to the vWii system menu and nothing was installed at all. I tried to install it twice but no luck. I noticed that on mymenuifymod it says that my system menu version is unknown (it's the latest eur version so it should be 4.3E). What am I doing wrong?
Ok I don't really know what was going on but using an older version of mymenuify did the trick. I used this one https://www.wiibrew.org/w/images/3/35/Mymenuify.zip and it worked straight away and now my theme is correctly installed. Wrote the solution for reference. Be careful when installing themes.
