How? With FBI? Where is the modded save anyway?

Run the script like you did before,and instead of clicking on "backup" chose "restore" this time, to restore the save. That's it.

Depends, if you're overwriting the old save then it's in the same location as when it was first created.

The save part we talked about wasn't really relevant in the end. Yes, you are right! Inject was correct and it was pretty straightforward. I'm just being overly careful since I don't want to put myself in a position where I would have to reformat/factory reset or something like that.

Hey, recently installed a mod for a game on my 3ds(mod is yo-kai watch randomizer for the original game if that's any help) and followed the instructions given for running the mod but now as long as I have game patching enabled on Luma the game just seems to crash every time I open it.(more details I have the yw1_a.fa file inside the romfs folder inside the 0004000000167700 folder inside the titles folder which is of course within the luma folder so I'm under the impression that the directory is correct at the very least). I would greatly appreciate it if somebody could help me find what I overlooked. Thank you very much in advance

figured I'd reask this since I didn't get an answer the first time(since then I tested the mod on citra and it does work so I don't think it's a problem with the mod itself so I think it's something to do with how I'm trying to patch the game on luma)

Is it an Arm11 error or ErrDisp?
If the version of the game doesn't match your system's region, you might need to force it to work with Luma Locale Switcher.
If it is, make sure you have the game update installed if there's any. Also try importing seed in fbi, click on "titles" and then "mario & luigi" and "import seed". Make sure you are connected to the internet.

There are two options:

* Your sd card is faulty, then you need to backup and format the card with the Fat 32 formatter.

* The cia is faulty.

If the cia is faulty, try to get a .3DS version of the game, convert it to Cia using Godmode and install that, it works!

I'm trying to get the 64 Emulator DaedalusX64-3DS to work on the N3DS and it doesn't seem to be working? It just goes to a bad screen then crashes.

First, get the latest release here:

1. Download and extract the data.zip to the root of your sd card.
2. Place your ROM files in sdmc:/3ds/DaedalusX64/Roms/
3. Delete sdmc:/3ds/DaedalusX64/preferences.ini from older versions if present.

• If the emulator freezes everytime you try to launch a game, make sure you are using a recent version of Luma and have dumped your dsp firmware.

I've tried those, though I haven't dumped my dsp firmware. I think it's automatic with Luma now? How do I even get into Luma again to try to force it?

That thread has nothing to do with dumping the DSP firmware?! People have definitely been able to run DaedalusX64 without hardmodding their units! Did you intend to link to a different thread?

It's up to you if you want to update or not, it's safe to do so, and it's necessary to update if you want to play online.

Since you're on fw 11.16 means you're atleast on v.11 of Luma3DS, so just updating Luma3DS to v.12.0.1 (optional) and then updating the fw from the system settings, should do it.

By using NTR's streaming features. I used to do it some time ago, I don't know how to get the latest version working but it is possible to stream the video to a computer, and then you can either record it or stream it to the internet.

Um, to my question, I don't think Sodering is needed to make the DaedalusX64 emulator work? I've dumped the dsp as well, and still nothing. after the 3ds splash screen it just crashes until I hit start to exit the application. All I get is this or a variant of this.

No, is a freaking emulator. Of course not every game will work since this is the Nintendo 64. If you have an old 3DS or old 2DS better forget it as they are underpowered for Nintendo 64 emulation. New HD 2DS/3DS are recomended . Also use the Euro roms as they run at a lower framerate so that makes them easier to emulate. You may need a Nintendo 64 bios, get it at the Web archive.
