We all know how it ends

The fact is that we all know how it ends. You're going to die someday. It can be any time, any day, suddenly, without warning, you could get a heart attack in the next 5 seconds. How much does the actual cause matter when you are already dead?

The media shows a lot of scary and dangerous stuff, but death is really nearby all the time, we've just learned to ignore it under ordinary circumstances, but you are never actually safe. Every second, minute, hour, day, month and year you get is a miracle in itself. No matter what you get what you get. We just have to do what we can with that. It does not even have to be anything special, because everything we've ever achieved and will ever achieve will just go away again anyway. Just exist.

@Spring_Spring Sounds like a reading of Ecclesiastes is in order. TL;DR, here's an important paragraph related to your post:

"Indeed, if a man lives many years,
let him rejoice in them all,
and let him remember the days of darkness, since they will be many.
All that comes is futile.
Rejoice, young man, while you are young,
and let your heart be glad in the days of your youth.
And walk in the ways of your heart
and in the sight of your eyes;
but know that for all of these things God will bring you to judgment.
Remove sorrow from your heart,
and put away pain from your flesh,
because youth and the prime of life are fleeting."
- Ecclesiastes 11:8-10 HCSB

If I die, I die; no big deal. I've already had a good life, so far, so I wouldn't be regretting anything.
