Basically, around two-three years ago, my life turned around completely. Everything has been perfect because I just started looking at things more brightly, and I just started preparing for my future (Like, getting a job, saving up a ton of money for college, and I have a plan on what I'm doing in stuff).
Anyway, my group of friends was always drug-free (Mostly), and we always did awesome stuff like went hiking, went on crazy adventures, went cliff-jumping, and we were always doing stuff, and suddenly (All this year, my Senior year of high school), now I'm the only one of my friends that doesn't do drugs.
It sucks because whenever we hang out, we just don't do anything. Normally, I don't mind if my friends smoked before we jammed or went hiking or something, but they just smoke, and then smoke some more and we just sit there doing nothing for hours, and I'm the only one not doing it. I kind of thought this was just like a phase, because it's getting warmer out and stuff, but they just keep talking about how awesome the summer is going to be, because that's all they're going to do. Also, my band hasn't done anything for months because we just recorded, and the guitarist is going away to college so they don't want to work on new stuff, even though practicing was so much fun...
I don't mind them just smoking and stuff that much, I just hate being bored and doing nothing. Anyway, on a brighter note, I am kind "accepting" new people to hang out with. I love my friends, and have been best friends with the group (Like 10 kids) throughout high school, but if this is going to go on the whole summer, I'm just going to have to do something else. So coincidentally, this girl who obviously likes me has been talking to me and she seems pretty cool. I'm hoping maybe something could happen with that, and just kind of ditch all them.
Long story short, I need new friends.
