How Streaming Helped (Got CDDA!)

It should be known -- to at least some people -- what I think of streaming. If you don't know, but want to: :creep: Here is an example :creep:

Who would have thought my desperate command into the void "Give me CDDA!" in the title the blog entry linked above would actually be considered? Something strange happened: Stocking up on groceries with my mum at Aldi I always look around if they have a special offer for audio CDs (children's audio play/audio drama). One strange CD from the Smurfs was lying completely alone on the glass case full of whatever. So I said to my mum: "Nah, no interesting audio drama CDs today."

We payed and left the shop. A few seconds later a man approached and told me he would give me several hundred CDs for a crate of beer.
What a great deal! People want to "free their storage" and "don't need CDs anymore because of streaming" and "prefer convenient, modern alternatives".

This brought me (didn't count yet) about 500 CDs, some of them quite rare. Complete series, audio books. Children's stuff, adult's stuff. I'm not yet through even looking at all of this.
All of this must have cost a fortune!

I have to correct my opinion a bit: Sometimes streaming can be quite good! If it brings people to be so generous! And he was happy to free his cellar...

Side note: First time in a very long time I bought beer. Can't drink this myself. I tried decades ago, didn't get drunk, felt nauseated and had to go to the bathroom every few minutes because of the huge amount of water combined with moderate amount of ethanol.

Sick.
Also beer is nasty. The last time I tried it I couldn't take more than two sips. I prefer sweet wine and fireball, or really anything that's about taste and not just being an efficient way to get drunk.

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    @SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme
