I think the point is that the game is brand new and he's already played that long.
I still hate him for it too.

Though if we're having an epeen contest, i've clocked 700 hours into Tales of Symphonia, 300 in Vesperia, and 300 into TWEWY.

For some reason me and my friend found ToA tedious / boring for a tales of - game. Sure it is "quality" Tales of stuff, but at around 40h into the game, there was a part in the storyline that took 1 whole hour and all it included, was running around talking to people.... ( yes, I was watching the clock the whole time)
But damn was it a blast to play it through on PS2 with 2 of my friends....and lots of candy+chips+soda to go with.
Atleast for the me and my other friend who only had to grap our controllers when a fight came up.

Does the 3DS remake have multiplayer option?
