She certainly seems chipper...

I went to Taco Bell tonight to pick up some food for a friend... well I noticed that the girl working the drive-through seemed rather friendly and cheerful.

Then a few minutes ago I happened to glance at the receipt in the bag...

I'd feel I was being hit on, but there wasn't a phone number included. :P

She was having a stress-free day at work maybe, but look on the back of the receipt just incase :creep:.

Your in :)
On a serious not that would be quite random...
and ego-boosting xD

Maybe she had been having a bad day and you were her least fussy customer of the day.

Or you didn't order a ton of food. Maybe the thank you was from one of the cooks for not having to cook so much food.

However, what if she had a bet with someone that she could make some amount of money in a day, and the order you picked up got her that amount of money?

There are thousands of possibilities I could think up for such a scenario.

She was a little more happy to see me than you'd normally expect... we'll see next time I go, if she's there.

Considered I ordered 10 (well 6 hard tacos, two burritos, and two soft tacos) tacos I don't think it's the amount of food...

Thats a nice thing to do. It may not lead anywhere, but its always a nice thing to get something like that.

Oh man! Oh man! OH MAN! I know EXACTLY what you mean!

I went to Taco Bell about a week ago and ordered to go on my way to catch my first of two buses home. I was pretty hungry and had a couple of dollars loose, so I figured I would stop in. I got in, Taco Bell was pretty deserted except for two guys who had already gotten their food. This attractive girl comes to the register to take my order, but she seemed a little overly happy to be taking my order. I mean, there is standard necessary happiness when working at a fastfood joint, but this was a little above and beyond.

Well, she was all happy and hit a high note when she asked "for here?" I dropped the bomb that it was to go though, and I could hear the disappointment when she said "ok, that will be $2." I mean, that was the most audible disappointment I've heard in a long while.

In retrospect, I should have asked for her number.

Another day, another chance.

it begs the question... why the heck didn't you say something back? XD you could've just said, "hey, you're missing something." she asks what, you say "your number, for one". :D

Oh man Drake, that sounds adorable.

I was at the drive-through, otherwise I might have been able to judge the situation better.
