Damn America, Your taxes are so low.

Yesterday I crossed the border with my family to go shopping at Buffalo. Over there we also went to the Fatima Shrine which was a church that had a bunch of statues outside of it and the church itself was in a dome shape, with a Mother Mary statue at the top.

After that, I went shoe shopping at Fashion Mall (apparently, that's what it was called) and bought 2 pairs of shoes. Nike Santa Cruise Premiums at the Nike Outlet Store and a pair of High Cut Converse at the Converse store.

I was amazed since my Uncle gave me $100 USD to spend on what ever I wanted there. I guess it was a reward for baby sitting my cousins for 3 days. Damn was it worth it.

The Nikes were $50 and with tax was about $52 or $53. Then the Converse were $45 with tax was like $46 or $47. I was amazed at how low the taxes were. Just shocked... Too amazed. If I can find a picture of them online, will show it to you guys, and if not, I will take a picture of them in my spare time.

After all the shopping we went to Apple Bees which is sorta off topic, but we crossed the border once more and at the Canada side. Mhm... It was good, just my ribs were sorta... burnt.

That was the last time we will see them for today, but they were planning on getting my family to go to California which is where their family lives. Since today, (everything was yesterday) they were all gonna go back to California. And yesterday, we did as many things as we could. That's why I wasn't very active at the Temp. But hell... America, your taxes are so cheap! I think I might buy all my stuff from there xDD. Gaming consoles, clothing, shoes.

And the plan was to send my sister and meh, to California next month xDD. Soo excited if this really happens. Then I can go check out the stuff there, and my family is also planning on going to New Jersey! Which means we are planning on going shopping once again! Maybe I can find myself another pair of Nikes at a cheap price, or better yet, get a pair of Adidas since I don't have a pair of those yet xDD.

But my feet are still growing... So am still thinking of whether to get shoes or not. I am shopping for Size 8 shoes and my usual feet size are 7. I guess I grew out of them, and sometimes, I even go for a size 8.5.

Anyway, America, your taxes are hella cheap xDD

Shoes? What're you, a woman?

Last I checked though, the tax % is different from state to state.

Also in America don't they have to pay tax on EVERYTHING? At least over here the 500% tax is only for things that aren't essential.

I Never realized tax was such a big deal in some places. How expensive is the tax where you live?

What's wrong with shoes and yea tax % is different for every state but considering how overpriced I've seen things that are sold over there you should try and buy everything you can.

Shatup Law x). My generation is in one of those phases where everyone, and when I saw everyone, I mean EVERYONE are into shoes. Buffalo (iunno if that is right, but lets just say New York) was the place I went. Taxes were 4% in New York which is better than Canada. Pfft, 13%. Like wtf? Why so high...

500% tax? Huh...?

Taxes are 13% here in Ontario, Canada, Not sure about the other provinces.

But taxes are horrible in Canada, especially the prices. I saw a pair of the Chuck Taylors which were High Cut, and Black.. nothing special. It was $60 in Canada. Then at the Converse store, $45.

Then taxes...

Ontario - $67.80
New York - $46.80

Weird right, big price difference in pricing and taxes. But I don't think I did it right... Oh well, you know the message, Canada is expensive!

Look at my flag. I'm not in Canadia, and I never stated that the 500% tax is for Canadia.

Those shoes would cost £100+ over here, and that's before "tax".

:O, I live in NY (in Troy, about three hours away from Buffalo), We are like second in the highest taxed State in America. I guess I can't complain anymore.

However, if you went to New Hampshire you would have more fun with money, there is no tax on anything at all and everything is so cheap. I went their with $50 and bought a lot of shit.

So taxing is different in every state. But this 500% thing is confusing me badly. Where'd it come from :wtf:?

War says thinking and buying shoes are for Women xP. Since Women care about shoes a lot, if you want to buy shoes, you are a Women and if you are a guy, you sholdn't care about shoes, am I not right War? I remember making some post about shoes and then there was all this talking about how guys shouldn't care much about shoes and should be getting the phone instead of Shoes, but the Phones never caught my eyes so yet.

I know that the falg of yours isn't Canadian, but I just don't know where 500% came from.

My parents are planning on going to New Jersey, so gotta plan out what I might get now ^^. I am done with shoes, 2 pairs can last me for a few years as long as my foot doesn't grow too much. Boots, I can stick with Wal-Mart branded boots :P. Next are clothing. Jackets, I am good for Winter. I have a windbreaker, so no Jackets. Just sweaters, shirts, etc.

I might even attempt to try and get a 360 ^^. Are there any sites that tell you what taxes are for each state. Don't lead me to some buisness thing.... Too complicated. something simple that shows which states and how much their taxes are,

I'm not sure where the 500% came from either - unless it's in referance to what the tax is on cigarettes over here?

Hello my name is Hadrian, and today I was anally assaulted by the Taxman.

I earn MORE when I work LESS. What is up with that? No wonder people don't work.

500% tax in the UK that's messed up and seeing what some Parliament members were doing with the money, I know where that insane tax money is going.

The tax on cigs is more like 150%.

I was under the impression that the sales tax in ny is 8%. Which is pretty high. I live in ct a couple towns over from the ny border and our sale tax is 6%. Some states don't have any sales tax. And just for the record, jersy sucks.

It's actually 15% (VAT), but we pay so much more for everything else anyway because of the amount of tax businesses have to pay to stay open, so the price of things increase.

Britain needs to what America did and have a revolution of some sort.

you're all a bunch of whiny little girls ;)

Tax in the netherlands is 19% on everything but gas, cigarettes (even more on those) and food (9%). They're even thinking of raising it to 20%, and that was BEFORE global financial crisis-blabla...

So anyway, in a few years, america here i come :)

Fuck guys, it's a joke.
Everything in the UK that's American is more expensive because of importing and shit.
Don't you ever notice people bitching about how expensive everything in Europe is?

War? Thanks for the site, but I know where I am planning on going and gonna tell my parents.
Yeah in FL. Tax here is 7%

I am gonna go research on the states with low/no taxes. Hehe... New Jersey sucks? Just my aunt lives there so we are planning on sleeping at her house there.

19% O_O. Damn that is high... Move to America. OR Canada. Either works, since all you need to do is cross the border, but you also need your pasport to cross...
Here in New Jersey, tax is only 7%. Too bad New Jersey sucks.
Gah... Why does it suck!? I only look forward to shopping whenever I go to the states xDD.
