Angry Beavers (First Impressions) Review

A few days ago, I recently started watching a cartoon show many of you may be familiar with. It's called The Angry Beavers.

It originally showed on Nickelodeon in the 1990's, and features 2 beaver characters named Daggett and Norbert, (left to right) who are brothers. Basically it seems they just get into random scenarios and often argue about things.

For starters, the title is good, but somewhat misleading. Only one of the beavers is angry, which is Daggett. Norbert is very calm and laid back. I have only seen a few episodes so far, which is why I wrote "first impressions", but it seems like Norbert only gets mildly bothered at most. A more realistic title would be "An Angry Beaver and a Nonchalant Beaver" but I admire the simplicity the creators went with.

The show is very funny. It's probably one of the funniest Nickelodeon cartoons, if I'm being honest. So far, I like Daggett much more than Norbert. He seems much more down to Earth, goal-driven, and relatable than Norbert. Because Norbert just loves to piss off his brother. So I would be an angry beaver too if I was in Daggett's shoes.

I can't wait to keep watching this show and see what else it has in store.

I agree with you about Daggett being better than Norbert. Fans only favor Norbert because he is better looking and more intelligent, and has a more pleasant sounding voice. Daggett has a way bigger heart than Norbert, and his moments of weakness are more forgivable when you consider the crap he goes through.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    @SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
